Did you know that 32% of Australians aged 15-24 identify as LGBTQ+? And that's counting those who are explicit and self-conscious of their post-modernism. The number is much higher if you could somehow cast the net wider and ask about post-modernism apart from LGBTQ+.

I find your views and assertions of the postmodern world view verses the Biblical world view regarding objective reality and truth most intriguing. I went to my local university with this information to speak to a professor of mathematics, physics with a focus on astrophysics and quantum field theory.
I asked her the following question, _”as a teacher of demonstrable science, do you incorporate into your curriculum the science that’s taught in the Bible?”_
Her reply was, and I quote _”ha ha ha, ha ha, ha ha ha ha, stop it, you’re killing me, ha ha ha!”_

      Hi there.
I can’t really comment above as it doesn’t seem like you understood the argument made. It’s not about incorporating “science taught in the Bible”, it’s about the metaphysics of the Bible. You should’ve taken the info to the philosophy department.
Second, I’m not sure what you presented to the professor. But since you went to the wrong professor, I can probably infer that you didn’t appreciate the argument that is made.

You make so much common sense that it would take a professor of post modern LGBT macramé grievance and critical race theory pottery studies have an apoplectic meltdown. God bless.

Are you suggesting what we now label human homosexual or bisexual feelings did not exist before post modernism? I am saying such people have always existed but for most of human time they not had an identity to understand themselves by. What is the straight community has always been strong and pervasive that homosexual or bisexual people were not free to act any other way whether it was by a lack of awareness or intimidation/coersion by the dominant prevailing sexuality.
We know that in the natural world there are many examples of animals and birds having alternative sexualities.

No. But the underlying worldview that justifies these feelings and acts as morally right boils down to some form of post-modernism. Sure these people existed well before the post-modern era of philosophy, but the foundations and implications of their thinking have not yet been formalised back then.

@@apologeticscentral I can well understand in the present climate of rapid change in so many aspects of life many questions arise about what is stable and true. It must be very disconcerting for those with fixed, unchanging views, especially in regard to biblical inerrancy and fixed gender roles.
Postmodernism is appealing for some LGBTQ+ folks but I don't think it is the end of the story. I think it is a gift from God that influences one's temperament, what one brings to the world and who one loves. In my experience, it is not something one chooses but comes to realise. To force and coerce another to choose otherwise is a violating sin against another person's God-given nature.

@@apologeticscentral Appreciated. You are unmovable. Your bedrock is the bible as literally understood. I dont approach the bible that way.

@@ivtch51 I am a Christian. What did you expect? There is an antithesis between our worldviews, and this should not be downplayed.
