I did.... turned out my fluid was just really low. Some how I had a leak ... had to get the transmission fully serviced. New pan, drain remaining fluid, new pan and filter, new oil... runs great now. About $700 from a local guy...
Glad I found you, you’re the only video out there in this kinda car. They’re selling me an 07’ BMW 750Li For $500 with a bad transmission after watching I think I’m gonna buy it.
Something I just learned is that a low battery will give it issues even with the transmission seeing that mostly everything in this model is electronic , mines would kick into park and also give me trans malfunction lights. After battery reset seems to be ok still worries me lol
the culprint is the MECHATRONIC SLEEVE (place where the electronic wires enters the gearbox). im too running on low fluid and warm up to the ideal temp in order to be able to drive. Else it will slip out of gear and go to limp mode or to PARK mode.
I have a 2008 bmw 750i. I changed a few things. Ivm module, $120, crankshaft position sensor $70, change the transmission filter $160, changed oil 3 times in the same day. Pumped in oil, started the car, put in drive and reverse while holding the brake, drain and refilled. My vehicle had 5 -6 quarts too many, lol. Make sure your vehicle is level when putting oil back in. I bought 3 gal liqui moly $160. Good luck with your car.

I own a 06 year 750 long-body model, and I detached the valve body for the fourth time due to a mission problem The first, the second, we changed the solenoid valves from China, and the third, we changed the solenoid valves, bridge seals, pipe seals that we ordered from the United States The fourth work we've done recently was to exchange the accumulator with the plate inside the valve body It is much better than the initial fault condition, but the gear will not be fixed in the cold running state So I ordered the sonnax zip kit We're going to do a valve body overhaul as soon as we arrive A similar case of failure appears to be a hydraulic leak from the valve on the valve body top
hello just was wondering if this would work for my 745 i parked it in the garage it was fine no slipping or anything wrong with trans. Tried to start it the next day and soon as i unlock the doors I see RND flashing on the dash haven’t even put the key in yet..No crank or start just lights flashing on dash saying Transmission fault, DSC malfunction drive moderately for both warnings but can’t get the car started. I did disconnect the battery overnight came back car started right up. Drove that day no issues no lights or anything, parked it in the garage again and the next day same thing as above no crank or start.. Did the battery disconnection again but no luck this time RND is still flashing even with the key out and no anything from the engine. Ms scanner Autophix 7910 says it can’t communicate with the trans. And since it won’t start I can’t clear any codes like i did before Anybody have these symptoms please help
Hi , mine did the same thing your is doing , I put the scanner to it , it came back stating in needed to replace the (pressure control solenoid) I’m working on it right now , I’ll post you another reply on the results as soon as I finish up

I have 750 Li my push button start at times would be slow to turn over (start) someone suggested change spark plugs. I done so, it still stalls sun times and right after changing plugs the transmission default came on. But my trans does not slip at all

Yes the fluid is low I just bought one in the fluid was burn my name is turtle t I service three BMW all the same eassy fix
Mines ha a Lil smoke when I lifted the hood I didn’t try to put it in drive but the transmission showed on my screen in the car
Question for you. I have the same fault. When placing the car in drive it would immediately to park and not let me drive it at all

Change transmission fluid pump it in from the bottle find the bottom find out how many liters of transmission fluid it takes
Sometimes mine stalls if I put in in reverse while turning and I gotta turn the car back on
