Still believe the best work Tom and Mark ever put out, was in their own bands, with Travis as usual, being the missing piece to bring it all together. This album start to finish, is an absolute masterpiece. Best work Mark has ever done. Credit to the dude mixing, he did a fantastic job on the album
That's almost like they both feel more creatively unencumbered when they get to take on all the songwriting themselves. I prefer box car racer and this album to a lot of the blink stuff. I don't have a list ranking them in order I'd have to think about it but.... If you take away the nostalgia of some of the blink and just focus on the musicianship, I think this and boxcar racrr is some of the more interesting stuff
