Tom had such a great ear for rhythm. He could find a way to make a very simple riff, sound unbelievably complex in post. What you are seeing vs. what you are hearing, makes your head spin.
If a musician does not have an internal metronome (especially after decades of playing) they need to throw their instruments in the dumpster, along with themselves. If you can't keep the tempo, you aren't fit to play.
@@asmongoldsmouth9839 If a musician does not know the difference between rhythm and tempo then they are not fit to play. See how stupid your opinion is now ?
MAN those drums sound phenomenal. i'm serious, the drums on that _Blink-182_ record are some of the best i've ever heard - _Fallen Interlude_ has probably my favorite drum sound of all time. dry, fat, CLEAN. so fucking incredible. whoever did the engineering on that stuff deserves a raise. they deserve a raise 17 years(!!!!?) after the album came out. wow. 17 years. The self titled album was by far the best of old and new. It's a shame they couldnt stick with that sound for a little longer.

One of the best drum intros. In regards to blink 182 (Travis Baker), drumming is very underrated. Especially this song.
Travis barker is underrated? He's probably one of the most well known drummers, ever. And he's talented af

THANK YOU
Stockhold Syndrome is one of their best songs and beats ever.
My favorite blink song
The start of AVA.
Could tell his playing started to change around this time. Not Now sounds a lot like Wishing Well and AVA stuff
Very true, Self Titled was very experimental and laid down the foundations of AVA for Tom.
I remember him saying he wish he got into pedals a lot earlier as well .
A.V.A is incredible.
Wishing well sounds like Not Now. Dumb fuck

My fav blink tune
Love this song. Tried to get my band members to share my enthusiasm to no avail. Need new band members.

Madden 04 had it. Although it was mislabeled Action and didn’t have the get ready for action line in the intro.
@@FlyingV555 actually Action was the original title for the song and the label made them change it to Feeling This.
