If a musician does not have an internal metronome (especially after decades of playing) they need to throw their instruments in the dumpster, along with themselves. If you can't keep the tempo, you aren't fit to play.

MAN those drums sound phenomenal. i'm serious, the drums on that _Blink-182_ record are some of the best i've ever heard - _Fallen Interlude_ has probably my favorite drum sound of all time. dry, fat, CLEAN. so fucking incredible. whoever did the engineering on that stuff deserves a raise. they deserve a raise 17 years(!!!!?) after the album came out. wow. 17 years. As soon he got in the car he opened it up and put that CD right in. I remember hearing feeling this and I was like WTF is this? And got hooked to that sound then finally realized who Blink was
