Dont know what it is Jeff I have the same issue, lately my suspects are doing or are trying to do the "YMCA" dance when arresting them. And then walk off.. Also the crashes when trying to store evidence. Im trying to figure out why suddenly. Must I figure it out I will share the knowledge 👍

I love jury duty. I have only been selected once to sit for a trial though, for a grand theft auto case of all things. Trial lasted 2 days. We ended up unanimously acquitting the guy, much to the dismay of the prosecuter. Juries are such an important balance to the criminal justice system (protected by the 6th amendment), and bring full circle the intent of the law to protect the people, by allowing the people themselves to determine guilt or innocence, and also to protect the people from malfeasance or negligence of a system or government. You experience an immediate sense of duty when selected, or at least I did. It was very interesting. I would serve again in a heartbeat.

And then something happened with the new place and he was unable to return the truck, since he had no place to store his things and ended up living in the truck for about a week, until he was arrested. He tried to renegotiate the rental agreement to extend the lease but the owner refused and reported the truck stolen. It was a total dick move by the owner. Since the truck wasn't damaged, was returned to the owner and the guy never left the general area while he was trying to find a new residence, we didn't think he deserved a felony. It was a bad situation with some bad decisions. He had definitely not set out to steal the truck. We did agree he could be liable for additional fees for breaking the rental agreement and additional days/miles, etc.
Jeff, I am curious why you don't have LORE questions added, it really adds more to the roleplay since it's more realistic interactions with the criminals.

Not that he'll see this, but a stolen vehicle gets impounded as it is evidence in an investigation and until the suspect is tried and convicted or released - the car could be held as evidence for years and years. The owner receives full book value for the car and the jurisdiction takes ownership, then just sells the car at auction or has it scrapped.
Jeff, I have less so a “her derr why don’t you become a real cop” question, and more so of a, have you ever considered becoming a police officer before? If so, why did you choose not to? I’d love to hear your answer on this.

At 11:40 ish when apprehending the woman in the black car, why is it that your backup does not shoot her? mine shoots to kill 9/10 even when in cuffs and also the odd time that I manage to arrest someone it usually comes up as concluded 1 person killed it never shows up as arrested for me. I don't know why.
