What a brilliant, brilliant episode!! Thanks for putting this together Matt and thanks Keith for being so open with your knowledge and sharing so much without condition! I’m going to watch it all again straight away!! 👍👍👍👍
Absolutely grateful. That was a great episode. I jotted down 6 things to think about later. I usually watch each installment of the Ferry Series twice... and plan watching again when the appropriate season approaches the next year. But there are so many little bits of information that will be helpful at any given moment! Some don't seem useful with this first viewing, thinking 'I already do that' ... then you realize Keith is saying something new... while he's demonstrating the drinkers, you realize he is taking the show training into the management of his room.... just always something to think about. Many sincere thanks.
Another reason I have my same type of perches upside down is because some of my Glosters would get their nails caught in the grooves and you would go in the shed and the birds would be hanging upside down on the perch and that’s how I solved the problem of their nails getting caught
Yes absolutely it does, an unflighted bird was born the previous year, so it’s yet to drop its flight or tail feathers. A flighted bird is any bird born prior to that
Hi Matt just a quick question my Siberian goldfinch seems to be stuck in the moult has lost feathers off breast but don’t seem to be growing any new one’s he’s very healthy otherwise what could be the problem thanks Mike
If anyone tried to handle my canary he would fight his way free like a crazy hamster. Bitting those fingers and in his own way tell you to *-#k off! Then spends the next 30 minutes smacking his beak on a branch to let you know how annoyed he was with you. The irony being if I then try and leave the house he lands on my nose and talks to me with his head upsidedown and pulls at my eyelashes with his beak. Little monster but he is very well loved.
Please help my male canary to skin and after a month I will leave the female canary. The male canary feeds the female, the female raises her tail, but the male does nothing

Great there is no rush
Very knowledge gentleman
Excellent show as always. You are both doing a great job to boost the hobby.
Another great video matt and thanks to Keith, it's always a good one in Keith's bird room. 👍
Thanks for a great insight and what grand birds........
Well I picked up on the perches, what a gentleman, Keith is. I think he should get a few British.

The perch position is used with the Giboso as well. The Spanish perches are wooden and made with a groove on the side the bird sits.
شكرا على تقديم 🖒
I love your videos! but i'm still confused after all this time, what is 'flighted' vs 'non-flighted'? does it have something to do with the molt?

Another cracker Matt. Better watch. Keith will be beating you on the show bench with them Fifes.😆

We need to get past seed as a cage flooring. Such a wasteful system from the past.
