Thanks for the tips! For me the best one you ever gave was to open the face of the racket. It made all the difference to me and helped a lot with the return on the left side 😊
No - this is a really common confusion. The clockwise spin means the ball gets more “purchase” on the glass and actually kicks out with more angle. (The exception being wet glass and that negates the spin)
If you think about it, it's the same effect of a topspin ball, if you mentally rotate the ground 90 degrees counterclockwise (just visualise the ground as the right wall). Just like a topspin ball goes UP after it bounces off the ground, a clockwise spin will bounce towards the center after it hits the wall.
Sometimes we face a duo and one of them has a good serve while his partner goes up all the way to net (side openings post). If I cant handle the serve well, and hit the ball towards him, he can just hit it sideways and it’s impossible to reach it. He does it in bit of a toxic way. What is the best way to counter? What to do, to make him regret that net hugging position? Thanks!!
Either avoid returning to that person (and instead aim at the server's half) or try to play a lob over him since there's a lot of space behind him as he's hugging the net.

Thanks for the support! Glad to help!
This was a very good and informative video Sandy, thanks so much! Will practice this week right away!
Thanks for the support! Glad it helped!
We need a song jingle that talks about putting the raquette down as fast as possible.
haha that would be great!
Isnt it the other way around with the side spin? Because it spins clockwise, the ball will bounce closer to the glass.
I was thinking this exact same thing :o

Doesn’t it depend which side you’re returning on?

Can you also explain how to return a slow serve with slice where the first bounce is early in the box and the second is right by the side glass?
get closer to the glass to play it or play before glass.
@@ThePadelSchool thanks a lot 👍
Do you have a video off returning the serve from right side. Also info when to block the serve before glass or not?

Very informative video. Will you be producing something similar but for the right hand side?
can make a note for future videos!

Lob is an option!

Why youre playing with BULLPADEL VERTEX 04 WOMAN 24?
