Great video! The only step I miss is focused practice on what I struggle the most with - the footwork. Exactly as you said what to do during a game, but without isolating this practice beforehand, during a game my footwork is awful and I'm never in a position to hit the ball to the side of me

This is brilliant. I love the idea that I can practice parts of this technique on my own, without help from a second player.

Great video! I've been practicing my bandeja a lot lately, and I noticed two things I usually struggle with: getting the racket to face the right direction at the contact point and the upper body movement (the little twist forward after contact). In my experience, the upper body movement is as important as the racket/arms position; once you figure that out, you will feel more confident to execute your bandeja.

Brilliant tips for training on your own. I think I will go out in the garden (when the rain stops, I know you like to talk about the weather, so here is af free update on the weather in Denmark) and practice my bandeja!

Great Video Sandy. I Do have been facing a problem recently. I've always been a left side player but I'm slowly switching to the right. On the left I have no problem aiming the ball with the bandeja, but once I'm on the right I kept trying to aim to glass 1 or 2 cross court but always ended up hitting glass 4. I think I'm turning too much my body so I lose the angle. Any tips for playing bandejas on the right?

I feel like there Is a issue about the ball being hit at its peak without any external force. Doesn't it alter the result?

how different is it to hit a bandeja from the right side. I feel like it's easier to hit it from the left side of the court

It is easier from the left because you have a little across the middle plus about half the court to reach.
From the right it's only really when it comes quite far out towards the fence you got room to play a proper bandeja
