I've been a fan of creepypasta stories since 2010, on and off since then. I'm so glad that there's still dedicated people keeping these going. Especially with gaming creepypastas.

Oh my god I just realized that we're watching the begining of a great Creepypasta unfolding before our eyes when Creepypasta's (especially video game Creepypasta's) haven't been that big anymore. I love it! :D
It starts with a few good ones in the beginning (Ben drowned, Pokemon black) Then you get over saturation like we saw in the early 2010s (2014 especially) with terrible stories Then you get a renaissance
@@pygmalion0451 ugh I always see people calling scp creepypasta but I dont get it, creepypastas are individual standalone stories that are almost always exclusively horror themed hence the name, but scp is more like scifi mixed with fantasy with some horror elements thrown in here and there, there are even some funny joke scps, imo it doesnt really fit what a creepypasta is unlike these mario 64 beta creepypasta videos for example
At 3:13 the sign could be a poorly translated message from the developer, the "he" could very well be the Dev, the "Turn back" is the dev telling you it is an unfinished version of the game, and not to play it.

I remember play testing this back in 95', I had to be held back and put on major anesthetics after killing the intern in the same room as me, but I never forgot the pain, no sir. Haha. Truly it was GOTY 1996.
btw, dont worry, wario is unable to actually harm the player irl, it is also possible to beat him, but all stars are required, and it takes about 20 minutes to defeat him, if done right, luigi is unlocked. but, there's still 4 other unlockable characters, a koopa on big boo's haunt, a bob omb on bob-omb village (also known as hard mode by the game, as the attack is replaced with self detonate, and the jump is lower), yoshi (some say that the controls of yoshi were taken from the game and used on croc, but slighty modified and more tank-ish, and without nintendo knowing about it), and an unknown character, speculations tell that its either peach, or golden mario, but none of those claims were proven as of yet. also the red sky is the manifestation of wario, defeating him will turn the sky back to normal, but the textures are different from copy to copy, so i assume the one ya got is heavily damaged by both the a.i gettin' glitched, or by physical damage, or even both

And than i jumped to my bed and had nightmares. That was the most terryfing nightmares i had. Wario was in the red hallway with hyper realistic blood, that was also on his eyes. Wario said with an demonic voice "You want fun? Wario show you fun" and started chasing after me. I waked up with a near heart attack. I was terryfied. I didnt know what to do. I didnt want to play this game anymore, but something said that i need to. Something in my head. So i played it.
1995/07/29. July 29th of 1995, to be exact. Seems like something made to mock rumors for SM64. Unfortunately, i couldn't get my hands on one but now that this all spreads across the internet, i wouldn't want to experience such a horror anymore. Should we trust Nintendo anymore? Is this all just an experiment? There are a lot more that cannot be answered. This surely can ruin many people's childhoods. I will strongly advice everyone to take these out of the internet and destroy the cartridges immediately before it's too late.
huh weird my copy had a sign that behaved similarly only it was in a small room in the castle that I haven't seen in anyone else's copy. There was no merry go round music though and another room in there lead to an endless empty room. No floor textures, nothing. Nothing in there actually appeared but the sign acted like an alarm of sorts and mentioned something was being dispatched to take care of me. I wasn't in the castle long enough to find out what it was.
@@lavender8833 Can confirm, my build had constant frame drops and incorrect models (Mario was a cannon!) and when I went into the castle the game went silent and it went pitch dark, then I saw a face of what looked like Wario and then it crashed with an error code of "0x9729512"
my copy of the game had holes in the level geometry, like i was in hazy maze cave and i'd suddenly fall, sometimes the holes were visible and other times not. i had to use gameshark codes to get some stars but when when i tried it warped me to the bottom and the game froze while a slowed down recording of yoshis laughing played. then my save file's icon was replaced by yoshi. every copy is personalized, i can tell you that.
I almost took it seriously until I saw the red sky, instant giveaway that it was a creepypasta. Then that dialogue at the door. I commend you for making it this good.

I've been watching beta builds of games recently so I thought this was just another beta build of a game. So I came in not expecting anything unusual, but the first thing I do whenever I watch a new video is check the description. So... I was instantly spoiled of this being not just a normal video. Yikes.
Completely overlooking the creepy pasta this is actually a really detailed recreation of the beta with good attention to detail, I can tell a lot of effort went into it
I love this kind of stuff. It may not be real, but I like to think that’s what makes it fun. It lets your imagination go crazy with ideas and leaves you with questions. Personally, I believe that is one of the key elements to making any kind of video or story, you want your viewers/readers to be immersed into the atmosphere of the content you make. One thing you do want to take note on is that it won’t be perfect so expect a few flaws here and there. That’s how any content creator or artist is going to learn. You must also remember to take criticism and handle it in a way so that you don’t come off as arrogant and/or rude. Constructive criticism is helpful so use it as a learning tool.
The dark army is massing, they are plotting to do something this year, i can feel it. I have prepared best i can, but i fear it may not be enough. All i can say is, into the fire we must venture, because we have little choice.
Within the wreckage of 2020, it’s insanely cool to see this entire Mario 64 thing take off. It’s cliched, sure, but it’s such an off the wall idea that somehow manages to be intriguing and somewhat creepy at the same time.
@Hubert Try searching for the Cheat codes and see what can you do with them, use Quad64 to change Behaviours and change the place of objects (There's a way to add objects that weren't supposed to be in the Level, i Just Dont know How.) And Mario 64 Text Editor to change texts
It's really hard to tell what the dev team would have used since There's things we never heard in the trailers, but the Beta Revival ROM staff may change the audios
The best feeling to see an creepypasta being made, as soon as I Saw the first video about wario head running mario down a hallway, I knew that was gonna get popular, and honestly, this creepypasta is really good.
Coming back to this again, and I just realized that this is basically what the entry of the build states. Severe texture errors, objects or the screen itself glitching and flashing, random music playing, all that stuff.
3 things I noticed were Mario's hair not being his hair from the beta, his voice is from the beta revival hack and him not having his beta animations, and beta moveset. but what I really have to say about this is, good video!

I don’t know why but those huge brick textures gave me the creeps. They give such a beta-version vibe as well as a facade-ish children’s-playhouse vibe. But still I don’t really know why these would creep me out.

@@pygmalion0451 ugh I always see people calling scp creepypasta but I dont get it, creepypastas are individual standalone stories that are almost always exclusively horror themed hence the name, but scp is more like scifi mixed with fantasy with some horror elements thrown in here and there, there are even some funny joke scps, imo it doesnt really fit what a creepypasta is unlike these mario 64 beta creepypasta videos for example

btw, dont worry, wario is unable to actually harm the player irl, it is also possible to beat him, but all stars are required, and it takes about 20 minutes to defeat him, if done right, luigi is unlocked. but, there's still 4 other unlockable characters, a koopa on big boo's haunt, a bob omb on bob-omb village (also known as hard mode by the game, as the attack is replaced with self detonate, and the jump is lower), yoshi (some say that the controls of yoshi were taken from the game and used on croc, but slighty modified and more tank-ish, and without nintendo knowing about it), and an unknown character, speculations tell that its either peach, or golden mario, but none of those claims were proven as of yet.
also the red sky is the manifestation of wario, defeating him will turn the sky back to normal, but the textures are different from copy to copy, so i assume the one ya got is heavily damaged by both the a.i gettin' glitched, or by physical damage, or even both
The problem is, sometimes Waluigi can help Wario escape the digital world, and that's not good for my health
@@GmShyGuy for that to happen, bowser needs to get undefeated for more than 7 days, if beaten earlier, waluigi is unable to free wario by usin' the power stars, the BLJ trick also works, as long the final bowser is defeated

And than i jumped to my bed and had nightmares. That was the most terryfing nightmares i had. Wario was in the red hallway with hyper realistic blood, that was also on his eyes. Wario said with an demonic voice "You want fun? Wario show you fun" and started chasing after me. I waked up with a near heart attack. I was terryfied. I didnt know what to do. I didnt want to play this game anymore, but something said that i need to. Something in my head.

1995/07/29. July 29th of 1995, to be exact. Seems like something made to mock rumors for SM64. Unfortunately, i couldn't get my hands on one but now that this all spreads across the internet, i wouldn't want to experience such a horror anymore. Should we trust Nintendo anymore? Is this all just an experiment? There are a lot more that cannot be answered. This surely can ruin many people's childhoods. I will strongly advice everyone to take these out of the internet and destroy the cartridges immediately before it's too late.

huh weird my copy had a sign that behaved similarly only it was in a small room in the castle that I haven't seen in anyone else's copy. There was no merry go round music though and another room in there lead to an endless empty room. No floor textures, nothing. Nothing in there actually appeared but the sign acted like an alarm of sorts and mentioned something was being dispatched to take care of me. I wasn't in the castle long enough to find out what it was.

@@lavender8833 Can confirm, my build had constant frame drops and incorrect models (Mario was a cannon!) and when I went into the castle the game went silent and it went pitch dark, then I saw a face of what looked like Wario and then it crashed with an error code of "0x9729512"

my copy of the game had holes in the level geometry, like i was in hazy maze cave and i'd suddenly fall, sometimes the holes were visible and other times not. i had to use gameshark codes to get some stars but when when i tried it warped me to the bottom and the game froze while a slowed down recording of yoshis laughing played. then my save file's icon was replaced by yoshi.
every copy is personalized, i can tell you that.
I almost took it seriously until I saw the red sky, instant giveaway that it was a creepypasta. Then that dialogue at the door. I commend you for making it this good.

I love this kind of stuff. It may not be real, but I like to think that’s what makes it fun. It lets your imagination go crazy with ideas and leaves you with questions. Personally, I believe that is one of the key elements to making any kind of video or story, you want your viewers/readers to be immersed into the atmosphere of the content you make. One thing you do want to take note on is that it won’t be perfect so expect a few flaws here and there. That’s how any content creator or artist is going to learn. You must also remember to take criticism and handle it in a way so that you don’t come off as arrogant and/or rude. Constructive criticism is helpful so use it as a learning tool.

@Hubert Go into Settings, ROM Settings, and change it to 8 mb. Should work
@Hubert Try searching for the Cheat codes and see what can you do with them, use Quad64 to change Behaviours and change the place of objects (There's a way to add objects that weren't supposed to be in the Level, i Just Dont know How.) And Mario 64 Text Editor to change texts

It's really hard to tell what the dev team would have used since There's things we never heard in the trailers, but the Beta Revival ROM staff may change the audios

The best feeling to see an creepypasta being made, as soon as I Saw the first video about wario head running mario down a hallway, I knew that was gonna get popular, and honestly, this creepypasta is really good.
Other than the whole 'found it in the box in the basement' and the whole deal about the obvious glitch overlays, i think this is pretty nice!
Coming back to this again, and I just realized that this is basically what the entry of the build states. Severe texture errors, objects or the screen itself glitching and flashing, random music playing, all that stuff.
This seriously made me have nightmares of this game. Good job OP.
3 things I noticed were Mario's hair not being his hair from the beta, his voice is from the beta revival hack and him not having his beta animations, and beta moveset. but what I really have to say about this is, good video!

I don’t know why but those huge brick textures gave me the creeps. They give such a beta-version vibe as well as a facade-ish children’s-playhouse vibe. But still I don’t really know why these would creep me out.
The context makes it all look out of place and unusual, which is something creepypastas rely on a lot when it comes to video games.
