Apologies, everyone. I mistakenly included Air and Super Mario on this list when they are April movies. I've been extremely busy the past few weeks and clearly I'm losing my mind a bit.
John Wick chapter 4 is just a whole other level of movie experience, it’s absolutely incredible and definitely the current winner for best movie of the year yet
Great list, I'm I suppose fortunate to have quite enjoyed Scream, although I must admit I'm terrible at connecting the dots with clues and such. I wholeheartedly agree with your no: 1 pick, John Wick has been a favourite franchise for years now, was a little anxious to see if they could stick the landing but I'm so happy I can say I love the film. Great list, Cody.
1. Scream 6 2. Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 3. John Wick: Chapter 4 4. Creed 3 5. Family History Mysteries: Buried Past 6. Shazam: Fury of the Gods 7. Kids vs. Aliens 8. Emily 9. The Case of Mystery Lane 10. Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham
"Luther: The Fallen Sun" starring Idris Elba on Netflix was my favorite movie of the month. What an amazing thriller. I also loved Scream VI, John Wick 4, Air, Dungeons & Dragons, and The Super Mario Bros.
I saw the movie without ever seen a single episode of the show. so without context I felt lost and conflicted with most of the plot points. also it felt more like an epilogue than a movie.
Scream 6 is easily my favorite movie of the year and maybe that's because I'm just a huge horror fan and I love Jenna Ortega. But 6 is my favorite Scream sequel by far too and I didn't feel disappointed at the end like I did with 5, instead I felt satisfied and wanting to see more of these Core Four. Tara & Chad made an adorable couple too. I'll watch the rest of the March movies sometime lmao.
Agreed. Controversial opinion Ik but Scream 6 is my favorite of the franchise. And everything you just said that you liked about are apart of the positives of what I really liked about it too. It just gave me everything I wanted from a Scream movie and sequel
Hey Cody. I was watching one of your Horror Pack videos. And you actually got a very much unknown and low budget horror film that I happen to like. But it doesn't have a wide release. It's "13 Slays 'Till Christmas." I am interested in buying it from you.
It's a shame that guy Ritchie's "king arthur legend of the sword" didn't do well in theaters back in 2017. I felt like his style fit that story so well and it would have been cool to see a 3 - 6 film franchise out of that like they had planned.
I was glad you had finally saw a movie that come out this past month in the year that you really liked or loved in John Wick Chapter 4 and I'm looking to see which other films later this year do the same thing.
I’ll have to check out Malum, because I loved Last Shift (I also loved Occulus). Especially for me, who is a cop that works night shift, sometimes by myself, for a small police dept. I could almost picture myself in the movie
Cody leach your awesome as always and your always entertaining thank you for everything you do for us as fans we thank you greatly I hope you keep doing amazing stay awesome
Definitely check out Malum again. The last shift is excellent and this one is a cool new take on it. The production quality is obviously better production value, but I like the story better in the last shift. The ending is also a little more clear in Last Shift
Last shift is a movie me and my buddies loved when we were in middle school (probably not the best argument for it) it had a B- plot that seemed a little rush, but plot A- the cop watching the building over the night is pretty chilling and never felt slow (for better or worse)
my ranking of every march movies ive seen. 9. house party 8. 65 7.murder mystery 2 6. dungeons and dragons 5. Shazam fury of the gods 4. Creed III 3. Super mario bros 2. Scream IV 1. John wick chapter 4

5. "Dungeons And Dragons: Honor Among Thieves". No interest. 4. "Super Mario Brothers". No interest. 3. "Creed III". Definitely looking to see this one. 2. "Air". No interest. 1. "John Wick, Chapter 4". Onboard for this one! Love this series!
I haven't seen the Mario Brothers movie yet, but I'm looking forward. What I really want, though, is a Donkey Kong Country movie, as I love that franchise.
I actually watched half of the movie last shift and so far I enjoyed it im gonna watch it again and give a fresher watch and not fall asleep but it's cool that the same director did a bigger version of the same story
Definitely watch the last shift I thought it was so good. The lower budget makes it creepy for me anyways. I haven't seen the re-telling but see the original before you see the other.
Is Hugh Grant in the Guy Ritchie film, or is it Josh Hartnett? Josh Hartnett is on screen while you mention Hugh Grant, but now that I think about it, I know you wouldn't make such a mistake. So, I'll assume Hartnett has a smaller role. He's done some great work in some great movies and tv, so I wish he would do more, but he doesn't seem to play the Hollywood game. He just randomly pops up in things when he likes the story or people working on it. Anywho... Thanks for the list.....
For me: 1. John Wick 4 2. Dungeons and Dragons 3. Inside 4. A Thousand and One 5. Creed 3 6. Tetris 7. Shazam: Fury of the Gods 8. Scream 6 9. Champions 10. 65
My March 2023 Ranking: 1. John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023) 10/10 2. Scream VI (2023) 10/10 3. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) 10/10 4. Tetris (2023) 10/10 5. Missing (2023) 10/10 6. Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham (2023) 9/10 7. Creed III (2023) 8/10 8. Spoonful of Sugar (2023) 8/10 9. Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) 8/10 10. Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre (2023) 7/10 11. 65 (2023) 6/10 12. Children of the Corn (2023) 1/10 13. Assassin (2023) 1/10
Air (spoiler comment) it was funny to me that Ben Afflec in the movie is barefoot in one of the scenes to a movie about shoes. It might have been multiple times. As someone that wears Jordan shoes I got hyped a couple times in the movie it was funny too when Mat was talking about Adidas. 9/10 I just wonder why MJ was missing I think more clips of him playing ball would have completed the movie.
@TheVirgo if you feel the previous 5 were the same, why continue to go see them? In a scream movie you get some stabs and chase scenes, what more do you want?
10. "65". Undecided on whether or not I want to see this one. 9. "Operation Fortune". No desire to see this one. 8. "Shazam 2:Theory Of The Gods". Normally, I love comic book\superhero movies. Every now and again, though, a series(or single movie) comes along that, for whatever reason, just doesn't look good to me. "Shazam" was one such movie. So now, the same goes for this entry, as well.
7. "Malom", "Mallum"(sp?). Never heard of this one until just now. Definitely buying it once I find it! 6. "Scream VI". 8th favorite horror series. DEFINITELY getting this one once it comes out! Haven't seen it, yet.
I have watched all but 2 of the movies on this list, mallum and air.i agree with 65 being the worst movie of the month though I'd put scream 6 and Shazam higher up on the list.dungeons and dragons and Mario will be lower for me.agree with John wick 4 at number 1 ,it was just that good.A 3 hour movie that u actually didn't want to end.
I tried watching Operation Fortune and I just felt like it was so boring. I guess about 30 minutes in something happened and I said, "wow! this movie just remembered it's a Guy Ritchie movie"... Then it just wasn't. I usually really like Aubrey Plaza's delivery, but even her deadpan just fell flat for me.
I heard of Operation Fortune when I saw the trailer, the day before it released. It was an ok enough time at the theater but I don’t really care to ever see it again
John Wick 4 and Scream 6 were my favorites last month, i did expect Shazam 2 to be a trashy, forgetable movie and i was not disappointed in that regard
Out of curiosity and desperation does anybody have any slasher movie/ TV shows? I feel like I've watched them all lol. Or horror recommendations if not slashers.

It’s all good! Great video 👍🏼👍🏼
Understood man, we all get that dark passenger following us. Keep up the great content
No probs i ended up watching Dungeons and dragons in April but counted on my list for March 😅
John Wick chapter 4 is just a whole other level of movie experience, it’s absolutely incredible and definitely the current winner for best movie of the year yet
!!!!!!
Scream VI was a blast to me and one of my most anticipated, though John Wick: Chapter 4 was truly something else that I wasn’t fully prepared for.
Scream 6 sucks a big one
Great list, I'm I suppose fortunate to have quite enjoyed Scream, although I must admit I'm terrible at connecting the dots with clues and such. Great list bro, but may ask why The Super Mario movie is in your March list. That's an April movie? Unless you got to see it early?
Hey Cody. I was watching one of your Horror Pack videos. And you actually got a very much unknown and low budget horror film that I happen to like. But it doesn't have a wide release. It's "13 Slays 'Till Christmas." I am interested in buying it from you.

It kind of sucked though.
It had a weak script
My guy spoiling us with so many vids lately 😁

Look forward to your review of Evil Dead
scream is my fave of the year so far
One word to describe about JW4, and in a good way....emotional
I bet Cody can’t wait for thirty five comments saying “Um actually, Air released in April, not March”. Great video.

Can you please rank all the sergio leone films? I love your director rankings.

I only seen John Wick 4 and Scream but they would be my top 2 regardless
65 was definitely incredibly disappointing. It was so bad and I REALLY wanted to like it
I haven't watched that one yet so can't judge it, but the premise didn't hooked me up either
I actually sort of liked it. Reminded me of a story I'd have read in an old issue of Heavy Metal magazine. Can't call it "good" tho.
@@playedout148 I’ll definitely say I thought the concept of other “intelligent” life coming to earth before we got here really interesting for sure
Eh it was ok. Nothing special but there's a lot worse out there
Would say it was a film you watch on Netflix and say that was all right and never think about it again 😅
i like these monthly lists gives me ideas what to watch
I actually watched half of the movie last shift and so far I enjoyed it im gonna watch it again and give a fresher watch and not fall asleep but it's cool that the same director did a bigger version of the same story

Super Mario bros and air came out in March? I did not know that.
I was disappointed by 65 on the other hand I saw renfield yesterday and I'm curious for the your thoughts on it also where is cotc
I think some people were expecting to much from a scream movie
Ofcourse people were when all of the movies are damn near the same lol and once again we got a generic scream movie.
@TheVirgo if you feel the previous 5 were the same, why continue to go see them? In a scream movie you get some stabs and chase scenes, what more do you want?

John Wick 4 is not only the best movie of last month, it's the best movie of this year so far
March, the new movie January lol
rough month
Josh Hartnett has had the same hair since Halloween H20. Get the man a brush, for crying out loud lol
If it wasn't for the Release of John Wick 4, you could say March is the new January for movies
Shameless advertising 😢
The ending of Scream 6 ruined the movie, utterly stupid and lazy writing.....screw the strike, get better writers current ones suck...fire em all
