Facts me and my sister was in Allentown PA on Thursday we were seated near the tour director crew on the floor level and we saw Janet in 2001 and 2017 in my hometown Philadelphia
She was on time and I did see her she came to Birmingham Alabama April 22nd I was on the floor 34 row!! That heiffa sang and danced her ass off live!!! Her background boys were phenomenal and she was keeping up with them❤😂. This tour is better in many ways. Janet looka better in black straight hair and her choreography is different thanks to a new guy not just gil. The set list and interlude and remixes are better. Love Diamonds for instance. Hope for a stop in Singapore. Luv 🙏🏻💜💐🇸🇬

I just saw her last night in MA with my mom. It was the first time we got to see her and you’re right. She not only looked beautiful but she looked like she was having fun. And she hit all the moves. I liked that it was stripped down and focused on her and less on the production. I do wish I had gotten to see her at least once with the big production but, I’m grateful regardless to been able to her experience her. I almost cried at one point cause she sounded so much like Michael. Ludacris also brought great energy, I do wish he got to perform more of his hits. Especially since there was like a half hour gap before Janet came out.
I’m so glad to see that so many fans and non fans are genuinely enjoying this show. It was definitely an experience! This was my 3rd Janet concert (Number Ones, SOTW & TA) and this was my favorite! Her pacing, her stamina, live vocals, stage presence & audience interactions, the setlist, the never performed tracks, her still eating the choreo! The ponytail! Like.. Moments!! It feels like apart of the Bang. Like if this is IT, I’d understand and she’d be leaving on a GREAT note. I came in as a stan during Damita Jo…the dark times. It was rough but to see her getting her flowers these past few years 😅❤I’m so full as a stan. And to see that she opened with Damita Jo… whew ! Full circle. She owes me nothing! I’m proud of her and this show. Truly the GOAT❤❤ Damita ate this.

Glad you had a great time Calvin! I saw her a few weeks ago in Nashville. I went with my mom and cousin. This was their first time seeing her and this was my third. This was my FAVORITE tour by her I've seen. From the setlist, the costumes, the energy. It was an amazing vibe! If you're on the fence about going, GO ❤ you won't be disappointed!!

I saw Janet at the Kansas City show. I got the meet and greet so I was sitting in the 2nd row. It was amazing to see the show up close and personal! The M&G did go by quickly but I was so happy to meet Janet. I first saw her when she performed at the Houston Rodeo in 2011. I kept my ticket all these years and she signed it! ❤️

@@chloeg1677 Yes, it was during the meet and greet after the show. You wait about 30-45 after the show until they come and get you. Everyone lines up and then they take you to a room where Janet is at the venue and the staff takes a picture with your phone. Prepare what you want to say because it goes so fast.

This is probably the best detailed review from a. hard for fan of Janet. Janet concert in Toronto was incredible - the band, the music, your reviews are thorough. I met Janet backstage. I really think fans like you should find ways to meet Janet because ya'll been supporting her from the jump. Glad you went! This is my 3rd concert of Janet tour. Met her twice in person. The show was incredible. I hope Janet sees this.

I was at the NYC show on May 8th. I’ve been to every tour since 1990 and she never fails to put on a great show. I went to NY because she didn’t come to DC , where I live so I was cussing her out too. 😂 I have to say I wish she would do “Strawberry Bounce “ live. She hasn’t performed it live I don’t think since SNL in 04.
You made such a great point about the band being exceptional. When I saw Jill Scott at MGM National Harbor, I genuinely felt like that was the best band I've ever seen at a concert so far. Bands truly make all the difference in a concert.

Just like you Calvin I am a Janet Jackson FANATIC !!! My first concert experience was the Number Ones tour ( at the Radio City Music Hall). This year , I went to her show @ MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!! Janet Jackson has proven age is just a number because every performance was excellent. My only regret is not going to the second one at the garden because Busta Rhymes made a surprise appearance. They obviously performed their classic : " What's it gonna be? " . He literally gave her flowers and a cake ( since her Bday and Mother's day were the following week). However, I'm surprised she didn't perform " All nite Don't Stop". Once again , it was a great concert experience. I will forever be part of the Rhythm Nation 😎. By the way, I literally bought the exact same shirt when the show was over.

You took the words right of my mouth about the stage. This time she definitely utilized the entire space which I loved soooo much. I went to the first night of the ATL show and loved every moment of especially when she brought out JD to Do It 2 Me (which I was overly excited to hear that song live).

Awesome video. Im going to the LA show but Ive only seen little clips here and there. Been to every tour since Velvet Rope. I believe after this she's going to take a few months off. And then the Goodbye will begin. New Album, the new documentary, and a major tour to support that album. It will probably be promoted as her final tour. She said she wants to go out with a big bang. I think this tour is just part of the plan. Gil (her creative director) said the other day that this is just the light tour and also said he already has plans for female dancers coming in and the whole bang. Im not going to be ready. This woman has been my idol since 89

I was one of those people who came up to you in Baltimore. It was a pleasure to meet you. I always love your Janet commentary, and the documentary you did was excellent! I went to the Allentown show as well. I took my teenage daughters to that one. It was their first time and my 11th time seeing Janet. I agree, the musicality of this tour was top-notch. One of her dancers was sick at the Allentown show, but they made it work well with just the three dancers. And, Lil Kim opened. I was wondering how that would work, but Kim did her thing. She's such a fan of Janet's that I think that helped. I'm just so grateful to have been at the shows! Janet was amazing! Moving so well! Janet is the Queen! Period.
Great point. There are so many folks that jumped ship after the Super Bowl fallout. As a fan who stayed with her and went to the shows with whole sections empty… seeing her selling out all these shows brings a tear to my eye. Never count Janet Jackson out. Give her all her flowers 💐

Awesome review❤ I attended the MSG NYC show May 8th. The only hiccup of course was this show date was moved from the original May 10th date due to Knicks playoffs. I expected a smaller turnout b/c of the change and allowing refunds but it was jam packed and otherwise ran on time down to the minute. Good show but favorites are still my first three: Rhythm Nation 90, Janet 93 and Velvet Rope 98.

The RWU tour in 08 was also my first and favorite show of hers. I always said she went in for almost 3hrs straight!! It was back to back non stop choreography, but she wasn't in a great place at that time. (Coughs.. Jermaine, LA Reid nonsense).. LOL.. I felt she was annoyed and was pushing herself way to hard. The MSG show was not even sold out at the time and social media were writing her off. That Discipline era was some N else I tell you. However, that's why she did the #1's tour to recover. Y'all really think she did that tour to be "up close and personal". She went on to sell out Radio City Music Hall 3 nights in row in 11, Asia and all, (her 2nd biggest region) which made her look real good to concert promoters during that recovery time. Then it was the sell out at Barclay in 17 with the State of the World tour and 2nites this year so far at MSG. That's just NY alone! She's selling out everywhere and have been since Unbreakable. The stage lighting, lasers and LCD's on this tour is not cheap looking at all. It's giving me Metamorphosis high budget level. I luv the golden cat suit and the velvet rope attire. I always said Janet is giving us more hair choreography now then ever. That pony tail was swinging, 😂. She is slowing down, but she picks it right back up for the breakdowns which is legendary. I was definitely here for Because of Love. It just reminds me of the whole Janet era that i low key wish i was old enough to experience. lol.. Lastly, I luv how at the very end she came back out, hard camera, with Together Again from the dressing room. It gave me, she'll never forget us, and will never take us for granted as she stated in her R&RHOF speech. It felt like a full circle. Just incredible!!

So funny cuz I’m the exact same way with her but I watched errrr-video on RUclips!!😂 I went to see her at the Garden and enjoyed every moment as if I’d seen it for the first time!! I recorded 3 snippets and took a handful of pics, I really wanted to immerse myself in the show and watch with my own eyes not through my phone. She’s graceful, aging well, choreography is seamless, tailored to who and where she is as a women who is getting older in the business and still performing at this level. With an extensive catalogue of hits she is truly an amazing entertainer❤👊🏾💪🏾

My favorite show I've ever seen. You're right, it's a very intimate and personal show. It's just like being at a party with Janet.
Seeing her receive the flowers and selling out has been the icing on the cake. We've been through a lot, especially during her comeback DC show from the Rock Witchu Tour, so this has been a nice change up
She slayed in Atlanta April 28th as usual...... Janet is a true ENTERTAINER 💯
Her last show in Seattle was ammmmmazing! I loved every minute of it & watching her energy & dancing... vocals were on point!
I just left the Dallas show and was blown away. Every time i see her she gets better.

This is probably the best detailed review from a. hard for fan of Janet. Janet concert in Toronto was incredible - the band, the music, your reviews are thorough. I met Janet backstage. I really think fans like you should find ways to meet Janet because ya'll been supporting her from the jump. Glad you went! This is my 3rd concert of Janet tour. Met her twice in person. The show was incredible. I hope Janet sees this.

I was at the NYC show on May 8th. I’ve been to every tour since 1990 and she never fails to put on a great show. I went to NY because she didn’t come to DC , where I live so I was cussing her out too. 😂 I have to say I wish she would do “Strawberry Bounce “ live. She hasn’t performed it live I don’t think since SNL in 04.
This is the second time Janet came to Charlotte and I missed her again 😢 I’m making it a point to go see Janet at least once before she retires! 🤞🏾🤞🏾

28:45 i think that the All for you tour was really smart for janet because she subsituted performing the big choreo intro numbers with costume changes for herself. Plus she had ab cropped shirt outfits to show her abs and give her the illusion of a very athletic dancer on that tour even though she is

I watched this last night as I was getting in my pjs from after the Allentown show. I had soooo much fun. That '50 Years of Me' in the beginning was just *chef's kiss* to get you prepared for the ride you go on with her. LOVED IT
Just like you Calvin I am a Janet Jackson FANATIC !!! My first concert experience was the Number Ones tour ( at the Radio City Music Hall). This year , I went to her show @ MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!! Janet Jackson has proven age is just a number because every performance was excellent. My only regret is not going to the second one at the garden because Busta Rhymes made a surprise appearance. They obviously performed their classic : " What's it gonna be? " . He literally gave her flowers and a cake ( since her Bday and Mother's day were the following week). However, I'm surprised she didn't perform " All nite Don't Stop".
Once again , it was a great concert experience. I will forever be part of the Rhythm Nation 😎.
By the way, I literally bought the exact same shirt when the show was over.
On Tuesday, I will experience the privilege of seeing Miss Jackson as my first ever concert. I cannot wait for this magnificient moment in Toronto.

I just saw her yesterday in chicago. I had been avoiding your review because I wanted to be surprised. Your review and insight were on the spot. She is wonderful. I agree that if she decided to retire, I wouldn't be mad. I'm 52, and my body hurts just from standing the whole show. 😅

You took the words right of my mouth about the stage. This time she definitely utilized the entire space which I loved soooo much. I went to the first night of the ATL show and loved every moment of especially when she brought out JD to Do It 2 Me (which I was overly excited to hear that song live).
The That's the Way Love Goes mixed with the Bossa Nova was so dope. I loved this show and I'm so glad I was able to go! I also love your reviews and perspective Calvin, keep being great!
Awesome video. Im going to the LA show but Ive only seen little clips here and there. Been to every tour since Velvet Rope. I believe after this she's going to take a few months off. And then the Goodbye will begin. New Album, the new documentary, and a major tour to support that album. It will probably be promoted as her final tour. She said she wants to go out with a big bang. I think this tour is just part of the plan. Gil (her creative director) said the other day that this is just the light tour and also said he already has plans for female dancers coming in and the whole bang. Im not going to be ready. This woman has been my idol since 89

I was one of those people who came up to you in Baltimore. It was a pleasure to meet you. I always love your Janet commentary, and the documentary you did was excellent! I went to the Allentown show as well. I took my teenage daughters to that one. It was their first time and my 11th time seeing Janet. I agree, the musicality of this tour was top-notch. One of her dancers was sick at the Allentown show, but they made it work well with just the three dancers. And, Lil Kim opened. I was wondering how that would work, but Kim did her thing. She's such a fan of Janet's that I think that helped. I'm just so grateful to have been at the shows! Janet was amazing! Moving so well! Janet is the Queen! Period.

I saw the show in VA Beach, VA. Excellent! So much fun. This is my 3rd show I have seen from the 90s until now and she never disappoints!!!

Awesome review❤ I attended the MSG NYC show May 8th. The only hiccup of course was this show date was moved from the original May 10th date due to Knicks playoffs. I expected a smaller turnout b/c of the change and allowing refunds but it was jam packed and otherwise ran on time down to the minute. Good show but favorites are still my first three: Rhythm Nation 90, Janet 93 and Velvet Rope 98.

The RWU tour in 08 was also my first and favorite show of hers. I always said she went in for almost 3hrs straight!! It was back to back non stop choreography, but she wasn't in a great place at that time. (Coughs.. Jermaine, LA Reid nonsense).. LOL.. I felt she was annoyed and was pushing herself way to hard. The MSG show was not even sold out at the time and social media were writing her off. That Discipline era was some N else I tell you. However, that's why she did the #1's tour to recover. Y'all really think she did that tour to be "up close and personal". She went on to sell out Radio City Music Hall 3 nights in row in 11, Asia and all, (her 2nd biggest region) which made her look real good to concert promoters during that recovery time. Then it was the sell out at Barclay in 17 with the State of the World tour and 2nites this year so far at MSG. That's just NY alone! She's selling out everywhere and have been since Unbreakable. The stage lighting, lasers and LCD's on this tour is not cheap looking at all. It's giving me Metamorphosis high budget level. I luv the golden cat suit and the velvet rope attire. I always said Janet is giving us more hair choreography now then ever. That pony tail was swinging, 😂. She is slowing down, but she picks it right back up for the breakdowns which is legendary. I was definitely here for Because of Love. It just reminds me of the whole Janet era that i low key wish i was old enough to experience. lol.. Lastly, I luv how at the very end she came back out, hard camera, with Together Again from the dressing room. It gave me, she'll never forget us, and will never take us for granted as she stated in her R&RHOF speech. It felt like a full circle. Just incredible!!

So funny cuz I’m the exact same way with her but I watched errrr-video on RUclips!!😂 I went to see her at the Garden and enjoyed every moment as if I’d seen it for the first time!! I recorded 3 snippets and took a handful of pics, I really wanted to immerse myself in the show and watch with my own eyes not through my phone. She’s graceful, aging well, choreography is seamless, tailored to who and where she is as a women who is getting older in the business and still performing at this level. With an extensive catalogue of hits she is truly an amazing entertainer❤👊🏾💪🏾
