Calisthenics are something else. One day if I could ever do something even approximating to something like what was showcased here idk what I would do but surely I would have a party or sum cause that shit is gnarly
Get planche bars, practice doing tucked planche and progress your way up. Also practice your handstand, and tucked handstand on the planche bar. I don't do calisthenics anymore but I used to like 3 years ago, I could front lever, back lever, muscle up, handstand, handstand push-ups, all that. Never fully mastered the planche, got to straddle planche I could hold it for about 4 seconds and that was it. Then I just got bored of it and moved on to weight lifting instead. But it's definitely cool to do and fun to see people's reactions, I have a lot of respect for calisthenics guys, I think they're often overly hated on for no reason. I understand hating on CrossFit because it's not very safe and there's better ways to get the same results from CrossFit, but calisthenics is amazing, it takes a lot of discipline, practice, and pain endurance.

Calisthenics are something else. One day if I could ever do something even approximating to something like what was showcased here idk what I would do but surely I would have a party or sum cause that shit is gnarly
Get planche bars, practice doing tucked planche and progress your way up. Also practice your handstand, and tucked handstand on the planche bar. I don't do calisthenics anymore but I used to like 3 years ago, I could front lever, back lever, muscle up, handstand, handstand push-ups, all that. Never fully mastered the planche, got to straddle planche I could hold it for about 4 seconds and that was it. Then I just got bored of it and moved on to weight lifting instead. But it's definitely cool to do and fun to see people's reactions, I have a lot of respect for calisthenics guys, I think they're often overly hated on for no reason. I understand hating on CrossFit because it's not very safe and there's better ways to get the same results from CrossFit, but calisthenics is amazing, it takes a lot of discipline, practice, and pain endurance.
