What is he playing at 3:24? I can't tell from the video which fingers are fretting and which are muting, and from the audio, I'm not sure what notes I'm hearing, and if he's playing them or if it's an octave or harmonizer affect or something
it's a D on the 15th fret B string and then up 2 frets to an E at the 17th fret. If feels more dissonant than that, maybe there's a 2nd note he's playing, or maybe it's overtones from the drive effects?
