What a great find - a Sportsman with scissors! So frustrating we haven't gotten at least a Cadet X yet. I've got the Vic Evo 14 with a similar toolset. The wood handles look great, but I miss the scale tools, and the Evo grips cancel out the shorter length size advantage.
I had heard that Victorinox had broken their 84mm scissor machine and made the discussion to not repair/replace it many years ago. That’s why it’s no longer offered. As far as the EMS logo, it might be for “Eastern Mountain Sports”. They are similar an REI type company based in the Northeast.
84mm to najwygodniejszy rozmiar

@@scotts.1401 thanks for the info. Yes, that’s one of the going theories about the 84mm scissors. Thanks for helping with the EMS mystery!
Wondered were this went… good eBay catch.
@@larryblocker2852 hey!….were you bidding on it?….
@@favoritethings3065 no. I have one already but I am always on the lookout for another.
I bid $85 for an Alumus on eBay a few years ago, it was the rarer version without a key ring - I lost out it went for $118
