Nice ride! The NOS is a bit overkill for such a nice motor, but, to each their own. Got to admit, the truck is my favorite out of the Factory Five lineup. I hope it brings you lots of joy and smiles for many weekends. Thanks for sharing with us.
Having the shop helps a lot... but I built my first one outside in the winter time, in the shipping crate it came in.... focus and drive is what makes things possible above all less... the rest will come with hard work.
Gotta say that is one badass ride. I been looknig at the kit for awhile now. Just waiting on a few more dollar bills and debating pulling the trigger....
Watch that wiring, make sure you use shrink tubing, grommets wire, looms and get any wires off the frame, etc. I've seen enough of kit cars go up in smoke..A master shut off should be in the cabin and outside the car. Looks great.
yeah I appreciate that.. all good... have more miles on it now and have done a once over on it... prior to body install everything gets put away nice. I am in the aviation field in my other job and am well familiar with this concern.
skeets why are you hating so hard? The man built not one but three of these on his own after working all week, you really think he had it all just handed to him cause his work ethic says otherwise.
at 10:43 where your wire goes around the edge of the firewall you may want to do a little extra protection. I have made a mistake like that before on a build and we fried half the harness we had made for it. it was on a 34 ford Frankenstein build I did in high school and I definitely learned my lesson
@@LaredoHandyman that's ok... some people don't like it. Since the video I have added a detectable hood sccop... so it should accommodate the mood of the day... you simply unbolt the air scoop and place the hood scoop ... looks OK that way... I like the air scoop though
Erik, I’d like to meet up with you sometime and discuss your 2 builds, I’ve seen your other Factory 5 car in my area. We work in a common area and I don’t think we live too far apart. I like the theme of your other car. Cars look great.
I like the way you tubbed the rear for the wider tires. What is your tire size? How far does the tire extend beyond the bed sidewall into the bed area? Any risk of the inner fender edge cutting into the tire? Thanks for the great build video.
Thanks, this is the best under-the-hood look I've seen of the truck to date, really helps a prospective purchaser/builder like myself. Great work.

G'day from Sydney, one hell of a truck 👋👋

Nice build, my brother built a FF Cobra a few years ago...it’s a lot of work and a lot of adapting things...very clean and nice video.
Rock of the Marne! Nice build!
awesome build.. im really wanting to do one of these next..

Great job guess your not in new england we couldn't get away with no ground clearance and no 4wd for snow haha beautiful truck looks like great fun !
I am actually from Boston... but yeah it's riding a little low.... I had it that way for the show... it can be adjusted up
Nice to have a full shop and all the cash you need,,, sure makes things a lot easier! But then looking at where you live money is no problem

great catch!! - this was actually changed to a pass through configuration later in the build...
Really nice job, I'm a Top sportsman Drag Racer. It looks like a Super Comp or Super Gas Car ! Awesome
Thanks! I wanted to go for a Racer look , but still make it fun to drive on the street.... there is ton left in that motor

This is awesome 👏....
Beautiful. Only 2659lbs? Did i see that right? Wow. Any dyno numbers?
Nice
all you need is money
Why not use a Ford 429 / 460 engine from say John Kaase Racing with SR71 heads ???
Great Job Man, the truck is not really my style but love your other car sitting there. Is that the Type 65 from Factory Five?
It is.. Gen 3 805hp twin turbo Coyote :)
@@1988reebok
That's awesome. Cant even imagine how that would feel in a setup that light

Is this truck still available
Great job. Any major hickups in the build ?
Nope.. all good
Please tell me you are Not going to keep the air cleaner (scoop ) ? Other than that's looks amazing !
There is a hole in the hood..lol... so yeah...
How much money do you think you have into it?
oh we NEVER add up the receipts :) You figure the kit is 21k without the fenders and the engine was 10k and the paint was 10k - adds up pretty quick
The diminutive size of the bed would be an issue for me.............
Why? this is a hot rod .....not a freakin' work truck.
Was it worth it??
I didn't know they offered a truck,
But I just don't like the fiberglass...
It was new last year...yeah fiberglass makes me itch just thinking about it :)
Pos car ...
