      It's complicated hahaha but more on being hated becuase they keep addressing themselves as "crown" princess royal family even tho there's no crown. Greekroyal been desposed years ago. They wan to go back to Greece and rule it again. But they spend time outside Greece and show off in social media richness etc esp IG while their people suffer That's what other people negative comments about her
      Me I dont hate her I m just telling you what common negatives I read about her and her mother specifically. . I don't see her as a princess tho I see her as a socialte hehehe

    • @richie9308
      @richie9308 2 года назад +12

      A lot of ex-royals or descendants of royals who didn't exist at the time still have titles. Sometimes it would be shorten or modified. Olympia's grandparents are still known as his and her majesty the former king and queen of the Helleness. Even those who were descendant from the German and Russian royal families are still referred as "prince" and "princess" even though they haven't been in power for many years. It's rare for them not to use their titles and instead have a first and last name but it has happened. One example was prince Lennart of Sweden who lost his title for marrying his first wife without the approval of his parents. The rule was that princes and princesses had to obtain the blessing of their parents to marry. As a result, he lost his title and was just know as Lennart Bernadotte, the last name being the name of the royal house. Many years later, he was given the title of Count of Wisborg which was a noble title. The other example is Prince Philip. A few months after he was born, his family was overthrown in Greece and left the county. However he was still known as Philip, Prince of Greece and Denmark, but months before married Elizabeth, he gave up his titles and became known as Philip Mountbatten, his mothers family name. However, he would later gain the title of Duke of Edinburgh shorty before they married. Years later, he became a prince once again, but a prince of England.

      Someone didn’t learn their history 🤨 the prince/princess title is still theirs because it is their heritage. BUT they don’t do royal duties since they are overthrown. Their titles are now meaningless, they are just part of their names now.
      Take it from me, I’m a meaningless princess as well. My country is currently ruled by royals but we want no part of it, and that includes no royal allowances, my grandpa wants his family to live a normal life, but our names still remain because it is our heritage. Just like how you inherit your surname, same thing.

      @masteroogway6339 2 года назад +6

      @@gabrielrader8921 I can’t tell u those details as I’d like to keep my life private, it’s basically putting personal info to the internet, and mind you, I live like a normal working class person, despite my name.
      Which sucks bc people are always up my ass thinking I’m this majestic, rich person when I’m not lmao 💀 gurl I can only wish. But things had been done and the naming system is a universal thing, I understand the confusion but I hope people won’t be ignorant-
      and hating for the wrong reasons, like the Greek royals, I saw people hating on them for keeping the titles…lmao just ignore the titles, it just a name now, they don’t have the power to rule do they? Their hate are as meaningless as their titles tbh smh. P.S., a great example is the Japanese royals, Japan is ran by the president, the royals are still alive but they don’t have their duties anymore yet they keep their titles because that’s how the naming system work. *The titles are their heritage, just like how your surname is your heritage.*
      I’m sorry for the rant for such a simple question. But I hope this clears things up for future questions.

      @@annas4843 As many times the greeks tried to get rid of them at the end they always ended up bringing them back themselves again and also the monarchy was more times re-established by a referendum or by election results than the times it was abolished without the vote of the people.

      @@stgr0186 so you are telling me you never heard of Greek history right?
      These foreign monarchs were imposed on Greeks in exchange to be recognized as an independent state after the liberation from Ottoman Empire. The powers then, UK, France, Russia wanted to ensure Greece is controlled under their own monarchs bloodline. So yes Greeks had to accept to be able to establish a state for themselves.
      Who abolished monarchy and de-throned the monarchs? Greeks themselves, by vote 🗳️.
