    Hi Dorman, I like your black Renthals, they look quite right to my eye. I've got a Baker so they will blend in perfectly. Which model are they please ? Rgds James.

    Can you just do the back led taillight & indicators & leave the front stock(halogen)?Is that what you did buy the look of it.

      Yes you can just do either front or back or both. I can't quite remember but you may not need a replacement relay until you have done both ends because the resistance in one, but not sure now.

    Good lord I want that back Tail Light bracket! Although I may have to manufacture something as I am not planning to mount the license below the tail light.

      Fairly simple only a piece of aluminium. If you don’t want to mount the plate below then depending on your tail light you may just be able to use the bracket under the standard whats it. 👍

    Hey mate great upgrade....i was kinda following your path..... But.. I have a question for you... What abt the stopper pin for switch gear on the handle bar... You drill a hole or it was already there..... Lemme know thanks 🙏

      Hi Pal, I drilled a hole, used some of the missus lippy on end of pin to help put a tell tale mark on the bars

      Neale Bradford yea I need to do some don’t I. Not got a mount set up on my lid at present though. Had some lovely rides lately. 75% of my commute is through lovely countryside so would make some good vids.

    One small tip with these bikes,they have a lot of slack in the throttle cables.When you try & blip the throttle changing down all you do is take up the slack in the cables.Iv'e adjusted 99.9 % of the slack out of my cables & it's made a big difference.I like the tank stickers, where did you get them? I'm not sure if I like the originals or not. My bike is black like yours & I think it's the best colour for this type of bike.

    Nice mod mate! Couldn´t those turning light indicators be vitted in the original headlight brackets in the front?
    What model are those?

      Yes mate used a bit of soft crayon to mark the pin and transfer mark to bar. Then use a small bit to staRt the hole and I prefer to switch to a stepped drill for a clean controlled hole.

      Hi there. Currently I have the throttle cables running on the outside of the forks. I will replace with custom cables at some point but not causing any issues besides not looking the best.

      @@DormanDiaries I seen a vid the other day where they removed the top yoke then the tank and cut a couple of cable ties, then lifted the brake hose over the stem and released the throttle cable some slack, but the vid had no sound.

    Did you apply the logos yourself onto the tank or take it to be re-painted?

      Just applied myself, not going to the expense of painting yet as still experimenting with ideas. When I'm happy I may get it done as a final job.

      GN - hello, they are a touch higher but no closer. I’m considering rear set risers to bring them a bit closer.

    Really like the subtle mods. I'd like a tail tidy for my 650 too but don't really want to make custom brackets etc. Are you changing the front indicators too?

      Hi Tom, Thank you, appreciated. Yes I have changed them along with headlight brackets. Just put a vid up looking at the brackets and will do a fitting and indicator one.

    I’m considering putting bigger tyres on my Continental . Continental tyres make a retro rim 110/80 front and a 150/65 rear. Mmmmmm.....

      Hi Sanoob, I've put a link in the description along with the dimensions. Its slightly higher than stock with less sweep but it is quite a bit longer at 825mm. See my later videos and the one for risers I still found I needed risers.

      Robert J Hello, just from eBay, seller called peel_n_stick they seem good quality, they won’t be mega durable unless you clear coat over them like factory decals but I’m going to see how they fare
