You should write an "opened on" date on them, perhaps a sticker on the bottom or back so you know when you need to toss. Don't want to get into a skin pickle/infection with an old product. Especially with a baby addition, I was so distracted and tired when I had my kids that adding things like open dates will help you so much. I also wonder if there is a drawer organizer for spices that would work for foundation so you can see them better. I don't have much makeup at all, can fit all in two hands... but I love your videos 😂. Living my full makeup life through your videos.
I put dates on my makeup products also. It helps me know just how long the product normally lasts.

Maybe you should have a sheet/notebook by your desk and another by your sink. Record how you liked each one and how it lasted in each one. It's a great resource when planning a video.

You should definitely give the Kosas Revealer Skin Improving Foundation another try!! Many influencers have said it very similar to the Nars Light Reflecting foundation. The Kosas Foundation has been my FAVORITE for almost an entire year. My sister-in-law wore it on her wedding day and I wore it on her wedding day as well. Not only did the bride look absolutely stunning, I felt pretty too when I looked back at the photos. It photographs well, but it also looks good in-person. I get the most compliments on my skin with this foundation. Whenever I wear this foundation, I catch my reflection in the mirror and think my skin looks super healthy.

Definitely give the Guerlain one another try, I think you might like it. It’s one of my favourites at the moment. I find it to be a bit like Double wear (feels light on the skin, good medium coverage and really long wearing) but a little more glowy than double wear (but not too too glowy either). I usually use CT Magic cream underneath as my skincare/primer, if that helps.

Dear Allie, I think everyone has their favorite makeup item. Mine is definitely blush although I still don't have a "favorite". Now that your drawer can close and you can see exactly what you have you can use up some of these foundations. That will be a wonderful feeling. When I feel overwhelmed I know it's time to declutter. I just wish someone could get some use out of the makeup you no longer want or use. As your complexion has cleared it' nice to get rid of the heavier foundations that you clearly do not need anymore!! Take care sweet Allie!! Enjoy those last few days before baby gets here. Dior discontinued the air flash foundation. I hear the Sephora aerosol foundation is pretty good.

I hate to say the Dior Airflash has been discontinued. It is my favorite and I went to get a new one for a wedding (didn't want to run out mid face) and wanted to cry.
Maybe it would help to use dividers so you could see what you have more easily. And maybe put the powders or sticks somewhere else? Or just use a BIGGER drawer!

The only high end foundations that I love are:
- Kosas Tinted Oil
- Tarte Maracuja Hydrating Tinted Moisturizer
- Purlisse Ageless Glow Serum BB Cream SPF 40
- YENSA Beauty Super Serum Silk Foundation
I use the halo tinted moisturizer and dermablend cc cream foundation. The halo is great for light coverage and dry skin days. And the dermablend is great for medium/full coverage days. Sometimes I combine them or use the dermablend as a spot concealer instead of actual concealer (I also use the nyx bare with me concealer as a foundation with a little moisturizer mixed in or just apply it really sparsely/thinly bc the shade is nice)

the rare beauty tinted moisturizer is sooooo beautiful, i might even go as far as saying it's my fav foundation😍 for full coverage, I really like the super serum silk foundation from yensa - the glow it gives my skin is just *chefs kiss*! I've been super into lighter coverage stuff over the past year or so, so the one from RB is my go-to☺️

You need a keep, get rid of, and a revisit. Then do a revisit video and then decide from those decide.
After you come back from your maternity leave and you have finished your declutters you should do a beauty room tour video. I think it would be fun to see all the fruits of your labor (no pun intended)!😘

Just a thought but it might pay to use a label maker to mark things as you open them as a way to keep track of when they expire or at minimum how long things have been opened for use.

The only foundation I would keep if I could only choose one would be Estée Lauder Double Wear. I use it as an overall base cover and even as a concealer, and I can sheer it down depending on on what skincare I do before applying it or I can mix it directly with a moisturizer. It is a holy grail of mine because I like my makeup to be the best at what it is, being makeup. I have my own skincare routine, so I hate the idea of a foundation having skincare ingredients in them because it always doubles the overall ingredients and has more chance to irritate and not agree with someone’s skin. I subscribe to the thought process of starting with high pigment/coverage and long wearing products, and I can change their level of coverage and finish based on what skincare I use before or mix with it myself. It opens a whole new door of possibilities and custom coverage depending on your mood. I also don’t buy any makeup that contains oils because you’re literally contributing to your makeup breaking down throughout the day, so that eliminates most of the dewy finished products on the market today, which is fine w]since I love self setting products and can turn a matte product into something dewy and light myself. I’m hoping to find some more favorite products in other makeup categories like lipstick and mascara because Double Wear is currently my only best of the best product. I do have favorable thoughts on the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Setting Foundation, and the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Foundation, or the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation, but I haven’t really had a need to use anything else since I’m so satisfied with my base right now. (Also it had been so hard to find complexion products as a Light Olive skin tone, and I managed to find one that has worked the best so far in my Double Wear luckily).

I stopped buying foundations when I found a perfect one (Lisa Eldridge’s). It checks all the boxes, so I don’t need to keep trying new ones.

Instead of buying the original beauty blender foundation you definitely need to buy the "Always On Radiant Skin Tint" it is absolutely PHENOMENAL everybody is blown away by how well it perfects the skin ....also has almost a FULL FIVE STAR RATING......I don't remember u ever trying it on here but u could have .....if not u GOT to try it!!!
Idea: video about products used for other purposes: ie concealer (NYX Bare w me) as foundation or eyeliner for brow or lipstick for blush or eyeshadow as blush. Creating multi purpose use for a fav product.

I love your channel!! I know a lot of makeup gets gifted to you through PR, but that’s a lot of wasted makeup :( Hopefully decluttering helps! Maybe if certain makeup doesn’t work right away, it can be given away.

😮 how do you find so many foundation shades that match you? I only have 1 foundation that comes in a shade that matches me; I’ve gone into Sephora and tested numerous lines and couldn’t find another.
