Isn't it crazy that no matter how large or small our collections are, we always know what's in it. Someone could say a product, and we know with 100% certainty whether we have it or not. I've noticed with every declutter I watch. When a product is missing when all of them are gathered, that person knows it's missing and where it is. Imagine all of the information we store in our brains.😆 Anyone else?

OMG, really?!! I think I must have dementia!!! On my last declutter, I kept "finding" products I'd completely forgotten about. If, God forbid, we were burgled, I'd know if a chunk of my stash was taken, but I wouldn't be able to say what 95% of the products were taken 🙈
Oh I am enjoying this, especially so because I use the same color as you in several foundations and started noting down what shades you use in your favorites. You didn’t mention the shades of your Chanel foundations. Could I trouble you to share? Thanks!

Yay! Base products are my favorite! I recently purchased the Danessa Myricks blurring balm in translucent and it is amazing if you get a little shiny in the t-zone. I was really wowed and I’m not wowed easily! It definitely blurs and keeps shine way down! That Chanel Sublimage is on my list and the Hourglass skin tint too. Only one you tossed that is one of my faves is the YSL NU skin tint…my tube actually only has a few more uses in it! You did such a fantastic job decluttering and your knowledge of each product is impressive! Thanks for the awesome video!

As a foundation minimalist, this video is so helpful! I was planning to repurchase the hourglass foundation in the October Sephora sale (even though I have to mix it with elf blue color corrector for a proper shade match!) but maybe I’ll get the Givenchy instead.

Oh my!! Being your shade twin, this video is amazing!! So many other natural looking ones out there that I was not even aware of! I think the fact that I used to get drug store ones didn't help, because there just never seemed to be a match! I hadn't tried them all of course, but wasting money was just so frustrating! Thanks to you, I can sip wine and shop them now without stepping foot in store!! :-D Hopefully concealers next?? That too is not an easy one for me! Especially that I just started needed it within the last few years, working in front of the computer has aged my eyes in more ways than one! I was getting away with just brightening, but not so much anymore! And working in a health building, I am at the reception so I spend my day smiling to every passer by! The lines are there, and the skin is becoming more and more sensitive and thin! Oh how I would lend you my trash can if I lived closer LOLL Also wondering if you have it written anywhere your shades in all of these? I know you mentioned quite a few, but not all! I will for sure refer to this when I shop my next one or 10 foundations!

Ohh this was such a fun video. I remembered foundations i forgot I had. The glowish is my fave in the summer. It’s glowy and doesn’t budge all day ❤ I have normal skin in summer and dry in winter 🥶
Is it now too glowy on your skin? I feel a bit too.. like a disco ball if I wear that one alone..😬 any advice helps
Hi Tania! I'm really late to this party. It's so hard to declutter, especially when most of the products are of good quality. I find foundation to be a difficult product to bond with. First, it's trying to find the right color. Then it's about how it sits on my skin. How does it behave throughout the day. It's real work! 😊 I was surprised that you found the Revlon Illuminance in shade 213 to be too orange. That's the shade I am using and I have a light neutral/cool complexion. See... it's not like chosing a blush or lip color. Much more complicated. I really enjoyed this video and hope to see other declutter ones in the future. ❤️

In my opinion, full coverage foundation Dior can get rid of cuz it oxidised n get darker a bit.
Oh I remember it oxidizing! I think I got a lighter shade because of that

The nude shade ( Chantecaille) will be just a little bit more bronzy than the Vanilla, as fall is close, i'll advise you to buy it for next summer. Lovely content, as always, and i appreciate that you specified the shades. 🥰

You actually decluttered quite a bit..congrats. I’m into skin tints more than actual foundations. Surprisingly, I have two that you did not mention. The beauty blender bounce skin tint…it’s really nice and gives good coverage and the ITs Cosmetics cc+ nude glow…it’s okay…if I found my match I would probably like it better. Congrats again! J.

I want the Rirual one!! I never heard of that brand until a few months ago. I don’t own much Clinique makeup. Not sure why..
I don’t like the Revlon foundation on it’s own because the shade I have is too light but I love mixing it with other foundations. It mixes perfectly with most foundations since the formula is so thin and sheer. Basically it adds a pretty radiance and some blur!!

You did an amazing job while telling us why/why not you are keeping or decluttering. I got the Mac face and body this year and the dior face and body is a favourite of mine its just so beautiful. How does the hourglass skin tint compare to that one? The yummy skin tint sounds amazing I may need to test that one but I am on a foundation ban till I can pan the one I am working on now since its super old and I want it gone.
The hourglass is lighter in coverage and a bit more glowy than the dior. I would say it’s more of a true skin tint, the dior I can build up!

Ooo.. tough choice.. they are both incredible! The hourglass has a bit more glow than the Chanel. I really can’t pick🙈 the Hourglass is cheaper so maybe that one?

I desperately need you to come to my home and help me declutter my own obscene stash. I have (approx) 127 foundations - I've already taken 11 away that I'm hoping my sister can use 😱!!!

I still don’t know my Giorgio Armani shade. I’m olive undertone but 6 is too dark unless I go in the sun but I don’t really any more. Any recommendations I’m about your light medium level with olive undertones.
Hm.. that may be a tricky one. I feel like the 6 is the only true olive in the shade range. I may be wrong because I didn’t swatch every shade, but from what I have the 6 is the perfect olive undertone. I mix a few shades for my kit.

I am absolutely heartbroken that Shiseido is saying they are having a problem getting in most shades of the Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing foundation!! It is my absolute favorite foundation and I am scared they may get rid of it. Any ideas if they are or are not?
I hope not!!! I know a ton of people that love it… It seemed to do well, I would be shocked if they discontinued it..

How do you guys de-clutter? 80 foundations seems like a lot of waste. I find products that i like and then stay loyal to them, this saves me money and reduces waste. I know its hard to say No when a new line or something flashy pops up- but all these unnecessary products end up amounting to a shitload of waste! I hope everyone tries to do their part in reducing waste. We're not going to live in a perfect world but its our responsibility to uphold it. Thanks for reading.
My job is to review products and do makeup for events or photoshoots, which leads me go have an excess of makeup. It’s just part of the job. A normal person would not have this amount of makeup, or I hope not:)
How old is too old foundation?
The foundation should say on it how many months it’s good for once opened. I keep mine longer than that..🙈
Is cle de Paue very light coverage?
No. I would say medium and I can build it up
