after this series is done, I'd love to see a "I completely forgot about this makeup" video trying the products you forgot were in your collection, and then deciding whether you should declutter them or keep them in your collection😆😅

Fun fact: The reason why the Rimmel Stay Matte powder is in cheap breakable packaging is because it was designed to be depotted. The pan size is made to fit a Stratton compact that a lot of other old powder makeup used to also fit in to
😶 so I noticed a hole at the bottom of my Rimmel powder (seems it doesn't have to be stay matte) some time back, thinking it reminded me of the hole in Fenty invisimatte refillable but I never bothered checking it out because I didn't want to put a giant powder in my custom Eyeshadow palette.
Yesterday I was thinking the packaging needs a bit of ✨pizzazz✨ and today I see your comment and my word! So many beautiful compacts.
Do you know if it's all the circle Stratton compacts that it fits, or are there any incompatible compacts I need to look out for?
I only keep the Coty Airspun for the scent. My grandma always had it on her vanity and it smells like her. I rarely use it; I just sniff it whenever I miss her.

Loving the series! Maybe fir powders you aren't sure on, put a little sticker on the bottom with the date, and if in 2 months you still haven't reached for them, you know you probably never will, and they can go!
I'd love to see a "Should I Declutter it" video series in 2023 of you trying all the things you forgot about or want to keep trying in these videos and see if you form an opinion on them!
I am OBSESSED with the Coty Airspun powder!!!! It's honestly perfect for my skin. Every time I wear it my makeup just looks FLAWLESS! I do believe there is a fragrance free version as well. For me the scent doesn't linger so I don't mind the fragranced version.
I have to second this. The scent is very strong. But it dissipates almost immediately. It makes my makeup look soooo good though
I actually really like the scent of the Coty powder. My mum used to be a consultant for Coty cosmetics years ago when it was a brand on its own, and she always used it. Every time I use it, it reminds me of her 😊.
The elf sheer tint finishing powder is my holy grail!! So pretty and blurring but not drying at all ✨😍 It's a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury air brushed one in my opinion and for a fraction of the price!
After all your declutter videos you should do a using makeup I forgot about and see if you like it & if you don’t you can declutter it!

The loreal infallible powder foundation is the only foundation ive been using lately. I buff it on over just my moisturizer after ive concealed some spots with the nyx bare with me serum concealer using the real techniques brush and it is literally a game changer for me. I recommend setting it with a spray because it can look a bit powdery if you use too much, but I LOVE this powder. its my holy grail
The Nikkia Joy Cosmetics is hands down my holy grail. I love that it doesn't dry out your skin but it's super blurring especially on pores and perfect for us more mature women with fine lines and wrinkles. It's just amazing. Highly recommend!!
You should make bins of stuff you forget and need to revisit so we can see what you love and then do a series of using them

One of my all time favorite powders is the Physicians Formula Healthy Powder Foundation. It works well lightly to set makeup and it looks great (on me) as a powder foundation. I went through an entire one! I miss having it in my collection.

The Nikkia Joy powder is SO underrated. It is an absolute must for summer, or for those with oilier skin. I prefer the Pat Mcgrath undereye powder to the Laura Mercier one as the finish lasts longer

Love the declutters! That Elf prime and stay powder is amazing!!!! One thing I’ve noticed for me, is if I declutter (clothing, makeup etc) and when I put stuff back and I’ve left no room for anything new it always becomes frustrating not too far in the future 🤷🏻♀️. I don’t know if I’m making sense but basically when I declutter I try to leave room for the “new”

I love the decluttering & reorganization but I have to say your reasoning cracks me up. Sometimes you say "I don't remember this so I need to revisit to give it a shot" and other times you say "I don't remember this so I must not use it, I'm going to declutter." 🤣

Ok, I do have a question. I understand that it makes sense that you have all these products because it's your job and, like you said, you are from time to time requested to try specific make up. Here's the question: do you not worry about the products going "bad" aka harmful for your skin? We are told to not keep more than a couple of months. Is it because you don't open them everyday? That would help. Thanks!
I think most powder don't go bad within a year anyway, sometimes powder makeup can easily be used for years heeh you have to check it sometimes tho
With powder products, the time before they expire is substantially longer than liquid or cream products. That being said, with her foundations and primers, I would be concerned that several of those products were well past the expiration or date past opening.
The Elf Prime & Stay Finishing Powder is my favourite right now. It's so blurring. Highly recommend :)

I don't think you need anymore makeup at all. But with that said. Makeup Revaluation came out with a new blurring setting powder you can get at Ulta and it's only $10. Hope you and hubby bare enjoying your new baby girl ❤️❗
At your recommendations I'm still using the Rimmel pressed power in my t zone. They really need to come out with a better way to keep the lid on. Lol

You definitely need to revisit this because powders are something you DONT need so many of. I challenge you to keep 3 of each catagory. For example glowy, mattifying, baking, foundation etc
I almost finished the elf halo glow powder and now I'm searching for a similar one, maybe I'll buy the ones from Pixi or Kosas 😁

I LOVE the Wander Beauty powder foundation. I don’t use liquid foundation. Funny story, I was finally able to go back in my office after working from home for 2 years. I had a brand new Wander powder foundation along with some other great items I loved. I ended up tossing them all 😭 they had been sitting on my desk for 2+ years and they have sprayed various chemicals in our office during the pandemic so I thought it was safer just to toss them. Tossing the Dior lipstick broke my heart lol

I am so on board with your feelings about the Cody powder. The smell is absolutely nauseating to me. It is unbelievably strong.
If you don’t remember how you feel about sth, isn’t it a pretty good indicator that you didn’t reach for them for a reason? Why keep something you don’t ever use and forget about? I don’t get it.

Disagree. Allie gets a lot of makeup to try. I understand why she doesn't remember all of it. She said she is going to try rhythm again and then decide what to do with them
If you try it again, you might fall back in love with the product, or at least be able to fully tell whether it’s worth truly keeping or not
I totally agree.
I'd say as a regular consumer of makeup, it makes more sense to declutter it. But as someone who works with & reviews makeup for a job, it makes more sense for her to revisit products (to see if they worth mentioning or recommending for the rest of us)!

You did pretty good. I definitely think more drug store could go. I have all high end and I’m going to try to de clutter soon. It’s hard. I did it in November and only removed 6. Love that you love makeup. 💄👄💖

I suggest she make 3 bins. Stay, Go and Revisit. When she does the latter, then she can decide whether they stay or they go

Ok so, I have an issue with powders. Because I'm really into the dewy look (not sweaty 😅) and pretty much anti-matte, every time I try to powder my under eyes, the lines get emphasized and I can't stand it. Particularly with the Charlotte Tilbury Flawfless one for some reason...I decided to try a translucent powder instead, and omg it works!! A small miracle ✨️ 🙏
This is great to see the woman who has all the makeup and what she chooses to keep and not. It’s like rapid fire shopping prep. It sounds like you love Huda beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Laura M but not so much Fenty.
