  • Loving Kindness Guided Meditation: Finding the Love / Basically, any loving kindness meditation focuses on developing feelings of compassion, love, kindness and warmth towards yourself and other people. In this meditation practice and with these positive affirmations, you learn to be mindful on a daily basis. Loving kindness meditation is a research-backed, seriously effective tool for not just a kick-ass relationship, but a kick-ass life!
    Research shows that loving kindness meditation has a HUGE amount of healing benefits!
    It decreases negative emotions and increases positive ones!
    It increases feelings of social connection and decreases loneliness!
    It’s effective even in small doses; research shows you can literally do just a 10-minute meditation and feel more connected and happier.
    It helps you shut off the negative voice in your head and reduce self-criticism as well as depressive symptoms.
    It increases your compassion and empathy for yourself and others.
    And it’s even been shown to decrease migraines and chronic pain! I know it can be hard to “find the love” when you’re feeling anger, resentment, hurt, rejection and all the rest with your partner. That’s why it’s so important to make this a priority. Try listening to this guided meditation every day, for one week and watch the changes happen. As you become more peaceful, compassionate and loving, your relationship will open up in new ways.

    This is an amazing meditation. I am on day three and I use it every morning as I start my day. I am shooting on a whole month of doing this. I can already feel the changes. Thank you, Abby for all you do for all the free stuff you provide. Thank you for all the love you put into the world.

    Currently leaving a domestic violence relationship and struggling a lot with living in a refuge, this really helped me feel more connected towards my toddler, self and warm towards the other women in this refuge, thank you for all of your free resources (i did buy the books ;) ) however i really appreciate having your tools be so accessible during this time until my counsellor is available, i think your podcasts are what drove me to set boundaries around my safety this year. I hope you know how valuable you and your love driving you to put those resources out there is. ❤

    Thank you so much for this meditation. I try to practice it daily. At first I couldn't get through it without chest throbbing & sobbing. I had so much stacked up negative emotions & feelings that needed to be released. It is reprogramming me to live fully with love & embrace others as beings of love. I especially focus on the acquaintance verses & think of someone whom I have or have had negative thiughts or feelings towards & this is hard work but really shifting me as a person & helps me process & release to grow. This is deeply rewarding & fulfilling for my soul & I am ever so thankful for you & all the important work you do & share on your RUclips channel & podcast. ✌️🤟💖

    Now in spring I recommend this meditation to renew our self love & positive energy. I followed the recommendation in Abby's podcast "How to forgive yourself" to do this meditation at least once a week. I feel it's put me on track again. Your voice is so calming & reassuring Abby & full of love & kindness. Forever grateful for all you give us.❤❤

    Abby, I'm so grateful that you are providing these meditations for us. I try to practice them every day. And I have no problem with the ads at the beginning or the end. But the longer videos all have an ad break somewhere in the middle that really breaks my focus. Could you do something about that, please? Thanks again! (P.S.- Loving your book!)

    Thank you, I never felt meditation could work for me, but with you as a guide I know it works now. After the first time I listened I felt better about myself, I will continue to do this exercise for a week and I’m trying the mindfulness program on your website too.

    I have been meditating for over 10 years... but wow... this meditation IS IT. Beautiful Abby, What a gift you bestowed this planet with this meditation. It is incredibly powerful.... to the max!!! 14 minutes.. ..? to change the trajectory of your day, your life.. Yes. I can do this every morning. I am beyond grateful.     Just tried this for the first time. Is it normal to feel an unpleasant emotional resistance to these statements? Hoping to move towards being able to feel these statements genuinely. Thanks :)

      Yes! I had the same issue in the beginning - stick with it and it starts to shift. You're changing some old neural pathways, it takes a minute. ❣
