Hello to everyone! I pray that the the Holy Suffering of our Lord will strengthen us through this time. I cried so much because for the first time in my life I have not been not able to receive the Lord’s Body for a long time now especially this Holy Thursday. However, I am so glad for the Masses by Word on Fire. It keeps us together in Christ. May the Holy Tridiuum give us focus and may we all nail our sufferings and fears to the cross of Christ and rise out of this darkness on Easter. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus ( Phil 4:7). God bless us all!
10:31. Homily
“Your being increases in the measure that you give it away."
Thank you WOF for your hard work! 👏
Thank you Bishop Barron🌸 🙏🏼🕯💕
A very thoughtful and enlightening message. Thank you Bishop Barron.
Thank you Bishop Barron for bringing this Holy Thursday Mass into our homes.
Thank you for ministering to us ,Jesus lambs.
Thanks to the wisdom of the fathers of the second Vatican Council, our mass celebrant now once again follows Jesus’ example by facing his followers, head on. It conforms to His words at that supper of: Do this......”.
Watching from Ontario Canada God bless us all💚
Bishop Barron, thank you. Your homily is life changing. Praise God for your messages.
The Readings and your Homily are so uplifting. Thank you, Bishop Robert Barron.
As I was listening to your Homily, something just occurred to me. Coming from a caregiving background, I often reflected on that lesson of washing feet when I would care for the elderly. Quite often, the person would lean forward and kiss my head, and like Peter, I would feel as if not deserving. The takeaway from these experiences was the recognition that it was so much easier for me to give than to receive. Upon reflection, I realized that the hidden lesson for me, if I truly want to be blessed, I must learn how to receive the beautiful gifts given to me. Perhaps for Peter, in addition to all that Jesus was teaching him, he needed to learn how to receive all that was being offered to him by God.
Thank you. 🙏❤
Joining from Vermont. Already watched our own Bishop Coyne's Mass but have to hear Bishop Barron's homily! I learn a lot from him.

from Cape Cod - My heart was broken when I went to celebrate mass this Holy Thursday with EWTN’s Franciscan friars and, for the first time, there was no televised mass. But a search led me here and I was blessed. Thank you so very much for bringing our Lord to us - and for a beautiful, thought-provoking homily and for your prayers for us.
Thank you very much for sharing this and keeping us connected as Christians and Catholics. Easter Sunday is a joyous occasion even in this time of fear.
Thank you!
Thank you.

Thank you, Bishop Barron and WOF team for all that have and continue to do for all of us! What a blessing you are!
What a great consolation it is to have Masses on the internet at this very strange and lonely time.
God bless you all! Mary
May God watch over us all, and may we use this time of uncertainty, to Reflect and Renew our own lives.
Oh Jesus I Trust In You
Thank you for wonderful Holy Thursday mass. God bless us all. Amen. 🙏
Bishop Barron, Father Steve, my wife and I both attend our local Catholic church, but, we have not been very pleased with the church priests for quite some time; most of the time, we do not understand the point that they are making during their Homily because what they are talking about has nothing to do with the readings. Your Homilies remind both of us about the type of Homilies that we both recall many years ago. We live in Southern Ca., a little over two hours from your church; I have been trying for a few years to get my wife to agree to move to the Santa Barbara area; since we have been watching online, I told her that if we moved, we could attend a church that we could experience the Homilies in person; thank you for the wonderful messages.
Thank-you so much🙏🏼✝️💜
Happy Maundy Thursday Bishop Barron. Thank you to you and your team for live-streaming these Masses and enabling us to celebrate the Triduum. Thank you for your service and saying yes to the Lord.
Thank you Bishop Barron. ❤️🙏

I am watching from Lincoln, NE. Being a seven sister is a joy; but fasting from the Eucharist has been painful, indeed! Thank you for Word on Fire. It helps me pray for my own priests here at home. God bless you all.
Have a blessed evening Bishop Barron and thank you for a wonderful Holy Thursday mass
I always go back and forth from slave to master back to slave. My life is to work. I can not manage and I enjoy working and doing the hard work. Sometimes people call it easy work sometimes people call it slave work. Yes I love farming and would love to work in a garden. Its still a lot of work. Even a lot of work to groom animals care for God's creation. Great stuff.

Mount Greenwood IL....6cars at7 PARISH churches THRS adoration curbside@8-831pm
Please make this homily a stand-alone video. I think secular philosophers hearing a priest start off with Hegel would change their hearts.
I have not much been a follower of Word on Fire, but I greatly admire Bishop Barron and so have been coming here for my virtual Masses. I love it! I really appreciate Bishop Barron's style, and his straight-foward liturgies. There's no fluff, and almost no music. I actually appreciate that. And his homilies are amazing, so full of insight, and thoughtful.
My only request is that during the homilies, the camera angle not change. I feel like he's speaking right to me and then--*swipe!*-now I'm looking at his side. It's distracting. It doesn't bother me during the other parts of the Mass, but I do appreciate that it's mostly a straight-on angle.
Hey bishop barron
Hello from Omaha, Nebraska
Gerry Zoller Dallas, Tx
Greetings
Such a blessing from our Good Lord to be able to participate in this Mass remotely!!!
By the way, does anyone know what is the lovely music at the beginning end of the Mass? What is its name & who is its composer? Where can I get it from?
It is the UBI CARITAS et Amor Deus ubi est. Where Charity and Love are,God is there. This is the mark of God's kingdom that Jesus invites us into. John 3:16...For God so loved the world, that He gave his Only Son so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life.
🙏
Why did you forget to end the mass with a blessing? Good homily, thank you.
Not called for at the Holy Thursday liturgy.
@@BishopBarron ok thank you for the reply!
I believe it's because the liturgies from Holy Thursday until the Easter Vigil Holy Sat night are connected and continuous. Have a blessed Easter Triduum!
