Very interesting & informative. I would love to know the multi-asset funds you use. 🤔

pretty good vid overall, and i appreciate that you encourage folks to consider their needs for liquidity. most of youtube's real estate gurus dont mention this. however, i disagree with the idea that picking individual stocks is difficult or necessarily more volatile than other investments. it all depends on individual goals and tolerances for risk. buying an index usually entails paying a small 'management fee' to own something you dont fully understand or care about. as baskets of individual stocks, or sometimes even other funds, index funds/etf's tend to have anywhere from 50 - 200 companies. can you really keep track of that many?? give me a handful of companies with strong fundamentals, and that fund will be soundly beaten. as peter lynch said, 'know what you own, and why you own it'.

But Warren Buffett said that he would encourage most investors to just buy the S&P500. The point is that most investors don’t have the time, expertise or willingness to learn about investing in stocks. So an index fund gets all the benefits of stock market investing without the hassle, and these days, at negligible cost. Plus, most people don’t have the capacity for loss to build wealth on just a few stocks. Index investing provides welcome diversification.
While I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, choosing a few stocks and managing them is not a plan for most people, just a relative few.
      Thanks for commenting!
