I just discovered your account a few months ago, and when I saw your video in here I was shocked by how much you've changed! But in a good way. You seem much more comfortable with yourself now, not holding yourself back and making yourself more 'palatable' as it were. Ahahaha my first videos were SO BAD! I had a little tripod balanced on top of a laundry basket on top of my bed with an old iPhone. But I wanted to try it and see if I liked it without spending any money, and I still am happy that I went that route. Starting and knowing the beginning is going to be terrible but you’re going to get better, it’s underrated. ♥️♥️♥️

Awwwww baby Booktubers 💕!!! Seeing the trends change was so fun, but I LOVED seeing how everyone started…some people were a bit shy and warmed up with time, some changed styles a lot, and others were absolutely unapologetically totally themselves from the second that camera turned on, wow! And your commentary was so thoughtful-it would have been so easy for it to have sounded repetitive, but we got little tidbits and stories, and when you weren’t being a total cheerleader you sounded like a Hollywood film director! I found some creators I want to check out and loved seeing the ones I already love and watch-I’m SO glad you’re doing a part 2, this was super heartwarming and wholesome! (And glamour Barbie G made me do a TRIPLE check, whoa! But you were so mean to yourself, baby Gavin was adorable and the part about the lamp between your legs for your video make me laugh sooo much, lighting is HARD😂) Editing to add: Can you do Peruse Project, Jodie (formerly Vanilla Moon), and Jessie Mae in the next video??

I’ve been looking to start my own Booktube channel. 😅 And it all started with your Goosebumps review - I’ve never even read Goosebumps, but I’ve watched the entire episode probably a dozen times! Since then I’ve watched so many different Booktubers, but when I need a friendly voice to play in the background while working in my classroom or cleaning the house your videos are where I turn.

Awwwww baby Booktubers 💕!!! Seeing the trends change was so fun, but I LOVED seeing how everyone started…some people were a bit shy and warmed up with time, some changed styles a lot, and others were absolutely unapologetically totally themselves from the second that camera turned on, wow! And your commentary was so thoughtful-it would have been so easy for it to have sounded repetitive, but we got little tidbits and stories, and when you weren’t being a total cheerleader you sounded like a Hollywood film director! I found some creators I want to check out and loved seeing the ones I already love and watch-I’m SO glad you’re doing a part 2, this was super heartwarming and wholesome! (And glamour Barbie G made me do a TRIPLE check, whoa! But you were so mean to yourself, baby Gavin was adorable and the part about the lamp between your legs for your video make me laugh sooo much, lighting is HARD😂) Editing to add: Can you do Peruse Project, Jodie (formerly Vanilla Moon), and Jessie Mae in the next video??

I love seeing how different everyone's video and personal styles have changed since their first videos! I've not been doing booktube for that long but seeing the start of the growth for other people's channels really helps the imposter syndrome and gives me new ideas for things i want to try in videos! 😊😊📚

I’ve been looking to start my own Booktube channel. 😅 And it all started with your Goosebumps review - I’ve never even read Goosebumps, but I’ve watched the entire episode probably a dozen times! Since then I’ve watched so many different Booktubers, but when I need a friendly voice to play in the background while working in my classroom or cleaning the house your videos are where I turn.

I actually spent hours watching all of my favorite booktubers (including you 😉) first videos to inspire myself to post my own a few months ago and it was the best motivation I could have had. As usual, Gavin, a video and brill idea, it is great to see people's first video and to see that these booktubers did not pop out of their mother's womb booktube stars but still fabulous. Watching them makes me feel not so bad about my first booktube video. Of course, the North East number 1 booktuber was always a star . Loved watching your videos. Your happiness always makes me smile .

Big booktubers habit of privating their early videos makes me sad. I love seeing the early videos it reminds the smaller channels that we all started out as nervous and a little awkward but in time we will grow in confidence and learn to be ourselves on camera xx
