    I appreciate this, Dre!!! I’m not even a barber. However, I’m a quick learner and I just faded my son’s blowout fade. He’s 7 and I just saved $25 per cut using both Instincts trimmer and clippers!!! Forever indebted to you!!! Mad Respect!

    I don't feel lost in the way he cuts. As with other youtubers without disrespecting the others who also do a good job. But Dre has something special that the others don't. With him I have finally been able to understand the world of barbershop. Thank You so much 🐐

    • @Cryptc-xo2ez

      i was also confused but I don’t think it rlly matters he just went up again with the 2 guard
      so for the 1 guard open you do do 0.5 to blend and for the 2 you use 1.5 open the lever as you do
      no difference

    I've been cutting hair for over 36 years. The problem that I have is that ALL of you younger barber are following the wrong method for cutting hair. If anyone ever notice, all of the patches that are in these guys' hair cut in these tutorials, it's because these barbers are cutting with the grain. This is a major no no. The reason why barbers started cutting with the grain, is because it's a quicker cut. Dear barbers, ALERT, this is not an even cut nor is it a cleaner cut. If a client has waves, trust me, you will not cut the waves out...this is a myth. We, as well-seasoned barbers, understand the techniques of polishing the cut. No disrespect to Dreclipperhands or any other younger barber. We are all family, in this business. Go back and look at all of the barbers that are cutting with the grain and trust me, you will see the same types of spots in the client's hair. Not throwing shade, but rather offering OG advice. thank you and keep doing your thing young man.

    • @LitosWay99
      @LitosWay99 6 месяцев назад

      Don’t they cut with the grain on clients with waves? As to not mess up their waves?

    • @nashistrash9912
      @nashistrash9912 5 месяцев назад

      this is wrong. not completely wrong, but the reason for this is because they are doing it wrong. when they accidentally go with the grain in some areas it will create patches as he said at the beginning of the video. as long as you are being careful and going with the grain in all spots there will be no problems

    • @NoBullsh_t
      @NoBullsh_t 5 месяцев назад

      36 years?? U own ur own shop?? And it depends on the grade of hair and a nikka skill set. I seen a bama cut with the grain, blade open, no guard flawlessly before. Grant it, I can't do that, but they some magicians out there..

    • @Tigerbalm1310
      @Tigerbalm1310 5 месяцев назад

      Nah bro you talking about black people only. Regular hair had to be cut against the grain. Let’s not biased with just one race based opinion

    • @Richofmotivation
      @Richofmotivation 4 месяца назад +3

      Nah your wrong specifically if the client ask to go with the grain instead of against it due to lighter hair. It’s what the CLIENT wants!

    It's like this....TPOB GOBLIN has StyleCraft Instinct beat... their blade don't get hot like that gold blade StyleCraft uses...plus is almost $100 cheaper. Yea, TPOB GOBLIN don't come with stretch bracket and extra bodies but that's basically it! I'm a little upset I paid almost $300 for StyleCraft Instinct but happy I spent under $200 for TPOB GOBLIN! C'MON AMERICA WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON! Then their is a Gold and Black pair of clippers made like The Instinct and the GOBLIN but their $3000.00 wth.. they come from Spain... so yea my question is...who is really copying who? Aye yall Stay Blessed By The Best 🙏🏽💯
