You know pretty well that Maldives 🇲🇻 is a tiny nation with population of fifty lakhs only may be equal to one fourth of New Delhi or one third that of Lahore. Considerable amount of tax revenue & employment is generated through business of cheap travel & tourism in Maldives. Moreover there is a treaty between India & Maldives 🇲🇻 to give shelter to all the public of Maldives in case of natural disaster like Global warming & during rise of sea level. During late eighties Maldives was captured by sea looters/dacoits from Sri Lanka with the help of local dacoits. Indian armed forces went to Maldives 🇲🇻, as requested, got free Maldives & handed over administration & dacoits to civil elected authorities & came back.
Of course something is not good between India & Maldives as for foreign relations are concerned. Sheeda Talli felt happy & issued a statement that it is a victory of Islam in the world. Thanks .
