It’s all about traditional cooking and non toxic cookware
Vengalam or bronze is an alloy of copper and tin in specific percentages
It’s always considered very auspicious and holistic to cook in bronze cookware
    Its also called bell metal.
Scientifically cooking is bronze cookware is very good for health. It withholds 97% of the nutrients of the food cooked in it unlike, stainless steel, non stick cookware etc.
In this modern day of technology, we have started using pressure cooker to cook rice and dal and have forgotten the traditional way of cooking rice and dal.
Thou the traditional way of cooking takes a lot of time and effort, the results are phenomenal. Tasty and at the same time healthy.
    Happy healthy cooking!!!🥰

Hello Mam, your video was very beautiful and inspiring, i always had a great love for these beautiful traditional cookwares. It's an awesome experience, isn't it. We can incorporate many traditional cookwares like unglazed clay pots, soapstone vessels, brass, bronze, cast iron, pure iron, tin etc for our everyday cooking. Each of these vessels will have different health benefits. And also some values & aesthetics to it. But, it only requires some time, patience and care. I hope your video can inspire many people like me. Thank you for your efforts and sharing nice informations. My humble wishes for your future endeavours. Thank you.

Yes you can store non acidic food in bronze cookware for long time.
In fact, the food stays hot for a longer time compared to stainless steel cookware.
Most of my videos will be in English( except a few in Tamil) and will automatically have subtitles when you turn on the caption mode .

Hi! I had watched some other videos in which they are advising to not to cook in bronze cookware as they break down on flam.
I so confused to buy bronze utensils, plz advise

    • @dannysparambariyasamayal8852
      @dannysparambariyasamayal8852  3 года назад

You need to buy good quality bronze cookware. There r many cheap varieties in the market. So beware! It depends on the % of mixture of metals.
I buy all my bronze utensils from etbykayal.com in Chennai.
I have been using mine for the past 15 years and had no problem. Also handle them with care, never drop them. Always hand wash them.

No , rather it’s the opposite, it is less fuel consuming compared to stainless steel cookware. Because it’s a good conductor of heat.

@@yashuviju973 no. Brass leaches metal to anything and everything cooked in it. So it has to be tin coated to be cooked in it. I have a tin coated brass vessal, will soon make a video of cooking in it.
