Way back in 2001, I emailed Harsha and told him he was my inspiration, as he was also from Osmania, and IIM-A grad. I got a response from him, and needless to say I was delighted. He is a wonderful man.
All the sweet souls here, please stop the tag titles of God king etc. This is the reason why we aren't able to make inclusive environment with all fans now. I know SACHIN is greatest and his incredible consistency in 1996 2003 2011 till SEMIS in ODIs & even in toughest conditions SENA WINDIES PAK Tests vs all these lethal bowling & batting firepowers since 1990 itself is the clear eveidence of the same, but don't overglorify it to invite the hate of egoist playerfans or anyone. Please read this. ☺️ All the people including 1950s to 2000s or even 2000s till date cricket fans, don't ever compare two different era players at all, because that comparison comes alongwith multitude of crucial factors like own team strength and opposition strength team count, fielding & old ball rules, pitch & umpiring realities, and different format knockouts introduced since 2007 of T20s and later WTCFINALS. So simply admire the skills of players always, and be graceful to accept their failures as well, be it KOHLI, SACHIN or even SIR VIV. ✌️☺️ Dear friends, even cricketer in earlier years himself & cricket expert HARSHA BHOGLE appreciates the originality of each & every player including SACHIN KOHLI everyone. I am commenting this just after watching 12 minutes of the video. I say all the cricket fans must watch this video. I mean this man is just amazing. Hats off sir!!! Your description of Test matches was out of this world
I just go back to the IIMA speech every now and then. "Khudi ko kar buland itna ki har taqdeer likhne se pehle khuda bande se khud pooche..bataa teri razaa kya he"
This is Life learning lessons...not just Cricket lessons...Cricket is so much deeply connected with Life..so much applicable ...Harsha Bhogle is too much aptitude, knowledge and intelligence 👍
Whenever Harsha says 'Protect' his ardent listeners' minds would definitely go to 'Much like Castrol Active' reference😂.Btw,almost 2 hrs and I still want more of Harsha!!❤️
You just take in his all opinions , and that's beautiful , if I want to have an opinion on something about cricket, I just listen to him, whatever he is saying is right
Thank you Harsha for showcasing cricket in it's best possible way. Right from test cricket, t20 to NZ nonsense team. Thanks for educating us for life through cricket.
I think this video must get more views.. Fantastic display of Oratorship.. The way he talks is commendable.. It shows that this man never complains about anything.. Just takes the positives and accept things as it is.. I can listen to him all day.. Now that's what IIM's produce..
Sir, one of the best speech of yours. Great fan. U were at ur very best. Sincerely request for a interview on ur personal journey. No broadcast if it's one on one.
Nice, polite and cultured man whom has been blessed with a narrator's voice. I could listen to Harsha all day. I love his and Sanjay Manjrekar's balanced commentary. Kind regards from Pakistan.
Harsha has such a good foundational knowledge of sociology and anthropology. Maybe that's why he's so good at commentry too. He uses the anecdotes and thinking process he developed studying those subject.
The money part Harsha is talking about is so true in American football. When suddenly 20 year old are getting paid millions of dollars. Many are doing great things but there are yet too many going in the wrong direction. People in High school are now spending more time playing football than learning math. This does not happen to baseball because of the farm system, which is like First class cricket. Not so much money but makes you work hard to make a career.
super insights! Awesome ... how beautiful he related the change of sports model - Money - News - Culture - Learning - Side effects of instant fame - women cricket thank you Harsha for the speech !
This man is a genius.. Really never thought Test match cricket like that, though I am a big fan of Test match cricket.. the comment @ 1:07:14 is ❤️❤️❤️
Loved the speech! Notice how @47:15 Harsha kind of corrects himself ensuring he doesn't sound gender-biased! @50:10 he seems to be referring to the incident involving Sanjay Manjrekar.

I just can't believe he spoke for almost couple of hours in front of a dead crowd.... Such in depth analysis of the game and its dynamics but no interest at all from the audience. I could imagine this session being a Ted talk and getting millions of views tbh!!
Got goosebumps when he said The Enemy of Test cricket is not T20..it's Netflix, Tik Tok and the current times...it's 💯% true
Way back in 2001, I emailed Harsha and told him he was my inspiration, as he was also from Osmania, and IIM-A grad.

The best video I have ever seen after his IIM-Ahmedabad speech! What an inspiration!
I just go back to the IIMA speech every now and then. "Khudi ko kar buland itna ki har taqdeer likhne se pehle khuda bande se khud pooche..bataa teri razaa kya he"
I have grown in an age where I watched Sachin Tendulkar and heard Harsha Bhogale. Beat that.

Very fine Acharya. But if the speaker is Harsha, he only can play cricket with words & voice & you still enjoy.
It's a joy to listen to this person
If only our news channels knew that..killer one 😂😂👻👻
I was there!
When was this ? the poster behind displays 2005....
but it doesn't seem to be from 2005.
December 2019. The poster is right in the beginning of the video.
I think audience is unable to understand the subtle humour of harsha
“If only our news channels knew that”. Cheap shot. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Some of the questions were just obsolete

India lost two semi finals consequetively after winning 2011 world cup... I know it's irrelevant topic but it hurts
And both times to teams down under
