I'm just looking at this video cause i have a lefthanded Harley Benton TE-62CC standing in the corner some feet away awaiting for me! Will open it tommorrow. Harley Benton's guitars have improved so much. I bought a seven string from them years ago. It broke on the first day of use, doh! Then i gave them another chance, and it was a really good guitar from them. I only wished they could do some lefthanded basses aswell
Sounds nice. Very listenable. Is that colour a thing now? All I see is liquid medicine lol. It does match your skin tho. Seriously, does the fretboard feel too "flat?" Weight? Nasty hum? Cheers.
I'd say the 'Shell Pink' kind of colour has been a thing since the 50s lol Probs not everyone's cup of tea though. The fretboard isn't flat, it has a very comfortable radius to it, quite similar to my USA Strat actually. It's a fairly light guitar. No unusual hum other than what you'd perhaps expect from single coil pickups.
@@briankierans2926 Super easy, takes a couple minutes. Can even do it without taking the strings off to be fair. You just have to adjust the positioning of them to re-set the intonation.
hey man, i'm pretty conflicted between choosing 2 teles by harley benton. i'm either wanting the te-62cc, or the te-52 vintage series. do u have a opinion to help me choose?
One of the main differences between the two is the neck profile. The 52 has a more vintage C shape neck, whereas the 62 has a more modern D shape neck. Other than that the guitars are very similar. So I’d base your decision on whether you want a vintage or more modern feeling neck. Just to throw a spanner in the works - if you can stretch to the extra cost, the 25th Anniversary Harley Benton teles are absolutely incredible guitars, I played one the other day and was blown away! Only available on the metallic gold finish though which may be a dealbreaker for some people.
I teach as well yes - I have a bunch of lessons on my channel for various things, some for specific songs and some for locks/techniques/scales etc .. if there’s anything you’d be interested in a lesson video on in particular let me know 🎸
@@DomHawthorn thanks, i prefer online Hq recorded lessons so i can watch as much as i can, such as Bret Papa courses, you tried is courses maybe? Just for teaching method reference
Get a set of brass compensated saddles for it to whack on when you change the strings. They're only around £5-10 or whatever equivalent currency. Other than that, give/get it a good set up and enjoy!
@@DomHawthorn Hey, Dom! I'm about to order one and I was thinking of throwing in a set of locking tuners + bone nut to improve tuning stability. Do you think the set of brass saddles will suffice?
@@aldomarten3222 Hi Aldo, I actually had no tuning issues with the guitar as standard. But brass saddles, locking tuners, and a bone nut are great upgrades for this guitar and would ensure optimum tuning stability and better tone I'm sure!
this prooves, TONE comes out of fingers not from expensive guitars
10/10
It's also a very good guitar
I came for the pink guitar, but stayed for the jams! Well done! This guitar sounds good!
Thanks man! It’s a nice guitar!
@@DomHawthorn It is! I just bought it a few weeks ago. Love it. It has a crisp tone that's great with overdrive!!
Amazing playing, and great sounding HB 😊👍
That's going to be my first guitar, where I'll learn to do jams like these!
Welcome my friend!! How is it going with the guitar?
Great playing Dom!
Nice sound and nice playing.
Great playing and tones. Looking forward to getting mine in charcoal frost finish... should be here in a few days 😜

Beautiful playing...
Your playing sounds great, it certainly demonstrates the quality of those teles. Does it still have the Roswell pups?
Yes, it still has the standard roswell pickups! Thanks for the kind words!
WOW!!!! GREAT RENDITION on 1.... Sounds like a N'ville Session player doing "CREEP"!!! and PLAYING all round was Snuff UP!!!
I love the guitar and your playing, great job!
awsome beginning licks. tabs pleeeeease.❤ by the way… this is my next guitar.
Great demo and playing
The 1st song is ❤❤❤
Cool sound. Really cool guitar?
Amazing demo thank you
Thanks a lot, glad you liked it!

Had to come back to listen to this again! Incredible playing!!! May I ask, how long have you been playing?

This colour is a classic! I've just bought one in this shade too and yes it will also match my skin very well. 😉
Stunning! What saddles did you replace the stock ones with?
Just a cheap set of brass compensated saddles from eBay! Cost about £5.
@@DomHawthorn Wow! They make a huge difference. The whole aesthetic is the real deal. Where they easy to install?
