Just taken delivery of the TE-62 DB in red and it's wonderful and holds it's ground against my Fender 62 Custom no problem, in playing comfort as well as sound and aesthetics Very difficult to understand at the price.. 👍
Thanks for your "fun-tastic" videos and wonderful playing. I have the Harley Benton TE-62 CC in Inca Silver and changed out the scratch plate to a mint green triple-ply one, added brass saddles and a fender brass pickup switch and love it. The neck is perfect. No fret sprouts and perfectly rolled.
So the problem seems to be that you can't put the guitar down once you pick it up? Not a bad problem to have. I just ordered the TE80 NT and can't wait to dig in
I am so happy for this video, my Green TE-62, just like you have there. I have been on the fence for this purchase for about a month. I play both bass and guitar, Bass is my main instrument and guitar is just for myself and I don't have a Telecaster type guitar but I have about 12 guitars in all price points. Last year for an experiment I bought the HB Goth Thunderbird just for C# tunning0, mainly Sabbath. Shipping has gone up because a little over a year Shipping was $65 to N.Y. U.S.A. So with a gig bag it was around $265 now for the Telecaster it's $82. Thunderbird was pretty good, needed a good set up, action was to high for me, and the cheap plastic nut was not glued so I put a graph- Tech one on. The tunners are garbage and will change them soon, pups are OK but I still am going to upgrade them soon but for the money it's better then I expected. I was thinking about a Squier Tele, I have 2 Squier strats that I modded a bit that are not bad but wanted something different and the Carmelzed maple neck got me, my favorite basses are maple necks with maple boards, guitars I have no preference. I know someone who got a HB Telecaster and he was not that happy but he is picky as hell, if anyone wants a bass from them I here good things about there other basses that are a lot cheaper the my TB.
I just got the ST90..ash strat. No complaints after a bit of set up. Amazing neck and pickups are lovely. Good company for my Fender Mex Tele and PRS245. Thanks...good vid.
I'm mostly into Rock and Metal, but this Green Tele from HB would most probably be my first electric guitar when I come to UK. Fingers crossed. I'm gonna learn from it some country and blues and all the classic songs I like, which would be a good foundation for later more heavy and technical stuff.
Honestly, throw a new pickup in the bridge position like a dual rail. That will make it a metal machine that can do country and jazz too. I have alot of metal guitars but im gonna pick one up too and slap a bareknuckle brute force tele pickup set in there and make it a sleeper beast
Thanks for the vid. I'm researching. I'm thinking about getting that sea foam green Tele from HB. Great price. And such a beautiful guitar. I was looking at higher and guitars and ran across that one and it's so awesome looking that I'd rather get that one on looks. But I'm watching all the videos on RUclips to see the pros and cons and there's a lot more pros than cons. And it seems to sound awesome as well. Every video so far has has good things to say about it. So I guess I'm bout to order one for myself. Great playing too by the way. Your good. Thanks again for the video.
The problem with Harley Benton are the expectations. I never owned a Fender but played a couple of them over the years (from vintage made in Japan to 90's Mexico made strats) - they are far better than any Harley Benton I owned/played (and I played a lot of them) BUT I never expected and will never expect a guitar that is multiple times cheaper to play and feel the same as I wouldn't expect Skoda to drive and feel the same as Porsche. Can you have fun driving Skoda? Of course, they are great cars. Can yiu have fun playing HB guitars? Of course, they are great guitars. I gigged using HB guitars and were never disappointed with the sound or conistency of these guitars. To summarize - everybody buys what they can afford (or what they want) and as you can also see on this video you can make these guitars sound fantastic if you're skilled.
Thank you for your test video of this guitar. If a very good guitar player like youlikes the HB, I think it will be perfect for a beginner like me. I own 18 guitars and can´t play!😅
I understand the addiction. I'm with you.
I have 19 Telecasters and four of them are Harley Benton, and i also looove SAAB cars...Keep up Bro👍👍

Where did you get your scratch plate from and did it fit or did you have to modify it? I'm really struggling to find one that fits the screw holes.
Hey, how's that color? I just ordered mine in that color as it seems like something that's not the boring, ordinary finishes.

God bless you too, Pastor. Amen to everything you said.
The issue is when you find out about them, you can’t stop thinking of them

Damn, fantastic playing!
I definitely have to show this video to my wife 🤣
You mean to say they arrived out of tune?! QC has gone right downhill... Whatever next 😂
It was the high E that was a little bit low
I love my HB tele with fender locking tuner and fender classic pickup and hardware on it..❤
Very nice playing.. thanks. :-)
Guitar addiction is not the worst addiction to have haha. And with Harley Benton is less expensive than before 😎🎸
Funny - your addiction Great to know that I am going to join the same track or at least 1.
This video is so effin lovely and you have such a charm man that I straight up subbed. Thanks!! l,,l,
Sounds great.. beautiful guitars
Hi Pontus. Whats your amplification at this test ?
On that one I used the Taurus stomp head made in Poland
Minä jo oikeasti luulin että HB:ssä olisi jotakin häikkää :) Vielä mahtuu yksi HB tänne Savoonkin :) Hyvää soittamista.
Brilliant👍🎸
Very nice I subscribed
that intro playing was way groovy though!!
What a legend! 😂
I am surprised how good my ST-62 Strat is :)
I installed a 80s rockinger tru tune " Eddie van Halen" Tremolo,dont ask me why.....but i love it :D
@Rockpastor Ministries, its a good problem LOL
A guitar only sounds when there are at least ten of them around...
So there is a problem of ....women....!
Mullakin alkaa olemaan tää kitara tauti. Kittos kannustuksesta.
I came here looking for justification not to buy one! LOL That didn't work.
:)🤣
God bless you too, Pastor. Amen to everything you said.
