Actual description: I have been extremely busy with work, but I managed to make some progress on the X2 project. I made a carbon fibre lid for the e-box and got got it installed... with a bunch of wiring and stuff inside.
I’m hanging in here to watch this video! Love watching you tackle projects. One of the best in the business!
Haha... thanks. It's all a play ... I'm just a good actor, haha.
You sir have created the most badass x2 on the internet, and it is continually getting even better!!! The wife and youngest child took a road trip this weekend, so no jetski stuff from me today, might throw together some videos from our trip because it was pretty sweet!
Haha... thanks man !! It is coming along... slowly, but surely. Much more planned. I'm glad you got away on a bit of a trip ! Good stuff.
Joel… 😂 Remember that 440/650 swap I was talking about?! It’s done! Go check it out!
Right on ! I have an insanely busy weekend, but I will watch it when I have time.
Oh SNAP! I commented before the ending! It sounds so good! Rowdy!!
I figure at least a few people will totally miss out on the start up, haha. It sounds healthy and evil, HAHA !!
This is looking awesome dude. Loving the commitment to doing everything exactly how you want it. I saw so many situations where I'd be doing the old zippy tie, lets ride kind of things! ;) Nice to see someone going the distance! Take your time on this one man, it's always fun to see the updates!
Haha... Yeah, I totally get what you are saying. The season is short and the water is liquid, so it's tempting to just toss on some zip ties and tape, and there's a time and place for that, however, I do get a little obsessed about the way I do things. I am inspired by my viewers / supporters, like yourself, and a desire to always make it better.
Not that I would do a crappy job, but my projects aren't just for me, they are for a whole community of jetski fans, so that pushes me, haha.
@@JoelArseneaultRUclips I do believe that you taking whatever path you wanna take, it's entertaining for anyone watching I'm sure! Either way, I'm sure everyone that watches your stuff appreciates the work you put into this thing, and recording it all for us!
Looks like you are very busy ✌️
That is for certain.
im sure you are a good guy to know... anyway thats one amazing shirt you have on. reminds me of the old blind shirts i use to have
Haha... I rarely purchase my own clothing. I get it as christmas gifts and for birthdays ...
Yes but is it salt proof? You should be proud of your custom 1100 ebox. Everybody who does an 1100 swap has to make their own ebox set up. I had to mess with mine today and I did a good aluminum job with it. I was able to work on it without hating myself. What is the best kind of 1100? The kind that works perfectly every time. Really clean looking setup.
I sure hope it is salt proof... when it is totally done, haha !! I will be taking precautions to make sure it's better suited next time around.
Haha... Your own e-box is like a right of passage ! If you can't handle it, then you are not worthy of the 1100 swap. I totally 1000% get what you mean about not hating yourself. I feel you there. We are our own biggest critics.
An 1100 that works perfectly ... hmmm. Do they exist ? haha. I'm going to do some testing on mine, and then probably do some really fine tuning. Turns out that you can (should) dial in the timing for each cylinder. This means making timing marks for each cylinder at actual TDC and then at 5, 10, 15, 20 before... so a lot of marking and checking.
Hoping it works decent as is for my first test ride.
@@JoelArseneaultRUclips OH man right of passage HAHAHA. I'm assuming the zeal lets you adjust timing individually.
@@Jacobskibros Yes, that's right, it has two separate maps and you can set each cylinder individually. Dustin sent me an article about actually using the timing to compensate for crank flex at high load. I didn't have time to look into it, but it makes sense if you want to get really fussy.
First maybe? 😂
Legend ! 🤟 haha.
