The clasp is not bad. Note it has plastic on it to protect it like the face does. Remove the plastic and it naturally closes correctly and stays closed
received the non-chrono today in rose gold and I am blown away with the quality!! Everyone goes on about san martin being the kings of ali express but the quality of this is comparable and a fraction of the price! The only part of the watch that 'feels' a bit cheap is the clasp but it looks great and the watch itself feels and looks absolutey spot on. So happy with it I've bought the green one as well, ha ha
I have 2 questions: 1) There are 2 versions of this watch: 1) Yours, which has 'Quartz' below the S&S on the dial and 2) The other version, which has 'Geneve' under the S&S. I have no idea which one is the one to buy! 2) How does the chrono operate? I don't see a minute/hour counter, only seconds at 6 o'clock.
I bought this watch preowned from ebay. The fit and finish are impressive! Mine is blue band, blue face, orange min and second hand. It really feels like a quality watch so far. If it breaks oh well. This watch is perfect for $38 preowned. Gets more compliments than my Omega Railmaster… go figure. 😂😂😂
I have the automatic (non-chrono) by same S&S and it's screwed down and I've gone swimming and doing laps with it and still running after 6 months (I swim three times a week). Best purchase I've made on AEx

The monaco is very good quality as well. i have the F1 in silver dial black leather strap looks just rite, and yep it works.
