Awesome post Marc 😊❤️🚌👍⛰ your photography skills and editing skills are excellent you really know how to tell a travel story 😊🌎🚎🛶🍷 thanks for sharing and safe travels
I love this area, and even though I used to live up there, I didn't see all these areas. I plan to vacation up in Eastern Oregon this next summer. Worth watching this over and over.
You're much too kind, Luann. Thank you very much, and here's wishing you an amazing time through Eastern Oregon next summer! We passed that way this year, and highly recommend the Steens Mountain area: ruclips.net/video/JB7AlNI1ZhQ/видео.html
Just did our annual 3 week camping trip to Oregon - visited a few of those waterfalls you showed - so gorgeous! Can’t wait to upload my photos & videos to see what I got. Nice thorough overview of this amazing state!
Thanks so much! Glad to hear that you had a wonderful trip as well -- feel free to share some of your shots with us on social media if you're happy with them!
Another great location video. I live in Oregon and have been to a few of these places. Thanks for showing me more and reminding me of some of the lovely places right in my own backyard.
Sorry to be redundant, but well done!! You keep on increasing the bucket list of places that we easterners need to visit, God willing. Thanks!!! Kerry and Sheila.
Come to Oregon ! The coast line and beach’s look amazing places to be , really like your picture on the beach at sunset with the dogs , Thankyou for a great tour of Oregon thanks Marc nice one ☝️
Grew up on the Oregon Coast. Took my kids to Newport a lot. Had to chase some kids who thought it was fun to throw dirt clods down on the tourist at Yaquina Lighthouse. Never had a problem with them after that 89'. Grew up in Reedsport and went to school there, so did my kids till 92. My father worked for Salmon Harbor in Winchester Bay, what you called Umpqua Dunes used to be free to park and camp out on the 2nd and 3rd beach. Can't tell you how many times I walked the 3 miles from the highway to the beach through the dunes and swam in the the various small ponds. My sisters finished their schooling in Coos Bay and North Bend. Horsefall beach is one you shouldn't miss either. Glad you went. Happy travels. Mike
Glad to hear it! Every now and then we watch on our 4K 55". Shooting and editing everything in 4K makes a difference, and we're so happy that you've noticed!
You did a beautiful job of putting all of that together. There looks to be a lot to do and see in Oregon. Crater Lake would be high on the list for me.
Thank you Anne! We adore them. Some of the footage used in this video was from our archives, and we had to say goodbye to Maggie (our golden retriever) a couple of months back, so just for now we're a single-pup family with Zoe.
ok that is it, I am going to have to go to Oregon now, only problem with watching all your great videos, now I want to visit a lot of these places. Guess I am going to have to buy an rv.
Great video Marc! I love Oregon! I've spent a lot of summers around Roseburg, but want to spend time checking out the entire state! Every year, eastern OR has been on my list... well.. someday. :)

Appreciate the tips, Jim! We'll be passing through on Sunday en route to Cloudcroft, but it'll be our second big drive day in a row and we'll be anxious to get that weekend of driving finished. On the return trip, however, we have a stop planned in Roswell, so we'll be keeping Lincoln in mind.
cool traveling video 👍 Would love to go to Oregon some time, its on my bucket list. Jealous you made it to Bend, Mt Bachelor is there ⛷ I presume that must of been Maggie in the video.
Indeed, Eric -- that is Maggie, some of the footage used in this episode was from 2016, 2017 and 2018. Bend is a sweet little town, and there are at least three different shots of Mt. Bachelor in this video that I can think of. It's been a few years but I last skied it in 2012 on a press trip co-sponsored by the Bend Chamber and the ski area, and it's a fun hill. There's nothing steep enough to give most folks pause, but the idea of skiing 360 degrees of the summit cone, working whatever aspect is best for sun and wind, is truly special.
This is a wonderful video, I enjoyed it so much! I finally got my first RV a few weeks ago, a small teardrop and am going out with it soon. Your channel is helping me learn so many RV related things . thank you. I saw that your going to be visiting Texas soon, where will visit while there. Asking because that’s where I’m located.
Thanks, Steve! They're wonderful. Since this video was filmed, we had to say goodbye to Maggie our golden retriever earlier this summer, but Zoe our lab is our constant companion.
@@GrandAdventure That's the hardest part of having dogs, they just don't last long enough. I've had dogs my whole life. Our Zoe, spelled the same as yours, was an exceptionally fun Boxer Dog. Boxer's only go about 7-9 years, it's a heart break when we lose them but such a joy for the short time they bless us with their lives.
Marc, you are making my bucket list longer. Oregon is beautiful. Are you taking us on your 4k mile journey? I cant wait. Where are we going? and when are we leaving?
Planning a trip out to Seattle and then down the coast to Bay Area in late October. This is inspiring. Any thoughts on state parks to see other than what you already covered and thoughts on what weather we might see?

Great video of the great state of Oregon. But way too much, way too loud music! Completely distracts from the video. Get more surf sounds and sea bird sounds.
Thanks for the feedback, Larry. Without the music, though, you'd be treated to long periods of silence (the drone shots don't record audio), wind noise, trucks driving past behind the camera, jackhammers, and all kinds of stuff you wouldn't expect. You can't always shoot in a quiet, pristine environment, but you can make it look like you did. 😉
