Honestly, not a fan of his personality, but Kyle is definitely one of the funnier, more sarcastic drivers NASCAR has. Him and Clint Bowyer are both hilarious with their dry humor when they're not busy enough being mad at nothing.
Michael McDowell's qualifying crash at Texas and David Reutimann at Watkins Glen, both in the MWR 00 car, were unusual. I'm surprised they didn't make it on here.
The flips in McDowell’s crash were probably the easiest part of that wreck to stomach. To see a car just break right and hit the wall head on, wide open… safer barriers earned every penny that day.
Awesome video! Steve Grissom's '97 crash practically mirroring Ron Burchette's '96 crash one year prior (both at Atlanta MS) are two of the weirdest I can recall.
Nice job! Dale Jarrett at Daytona in 1999 is very similar to Scott Wimmers Daytona flip. Kelly Sutton in the trucks at Kansas in 05 is a good one to add. Also Mikey's flip at Daytona in 04 is similar to Peters because of a tire issue digging into the dirt.
Weirdest one that wasn't on here was Casey Mears slow rollover at California in 2008 when he was basically stopped and Sam Hornish Jr drove under the back of his car and it went over.
It’s dependent on the way the vehicle impacts and the speed it does so, as well as angle of impact… it seems strange but they all make sense when you break down the physics of it.
I feel like Carl Long's flip at Rockingham in 2004 would've been a worthy inclusion. Also, Robert Pressley flipped like Wimmer did at Daytona once in the late '90s when he drove the 77. I think it was actually the last caution of the '98 Daytona 500 where the car flipped, then popped up on the nose and spun around

oh jeez... 7:18 *was* pretty weird, huh. i think it's cause earnhardt tagged him twice while spinning; first one lifted him up and second one was perfect timing to keep it going. super unlucky.

Nice video, but I hate those cars flipping for numerous reasons. I'm glad NASCAR done things differently to prevent that, but still those cars get airborne, or crash heavily to flip over.
2:37 id almost say dale Jrs car probably had a higher G loading . thats amazing how much "spring back" that guard rail had (and i think its just normal highway guard rail!!!) his car never saw a sudden stop.... the inpact of dales car seems to have been absorbed . but dale hits after all the crumple / stretch zones have done their thing . . idk, at full speed.... id say dale got more G just unlucky (and of course.... SUPER lucky for the 1 car lol)
Newman's wreck looked on the surface a lot like Kyle Busch's 2009 Coke Zero 400 wreck and Aric Almirola's wreck at the 2018 Daytona 500. If you block twice is succession, you're eating wall. Fortunately Newman somehow escaped the crash with his life.

(Also Ricky Craven's 1996 Talladega flip, Michael Waltrip's 2006 Cup Series Talladega flip, and a flip at the 1998 (I think) Bush Series race at Daytona in similar fashion to Ward Burton's 2005 Daytona 500 flip (forget who flipped though as I only saw it on Daytona crash compilations).)
