I have been going back and forth to this video hoping to find an alternative 🤦🏾♀️, I though I almost came in luck with “Anytime Mailbox” but they don’t help with business credit either. Is there any recommendations, nothing too much out of the norm for pricing as well? This make me just want to say I’ll get one of these and just deal with it later but I’m right there for my business up and running but the virtual mailbox is literally the one thing holding everything back.

I heard you won’t be able to apply for business credit if the address is linked to a FedEx, ups, or any carrier place Becaus the lenders see that!!
That's my concern. I don't want to use my home address, but from my understanding when it comes to applying for credit and funding, most lenders can tell if you are using a virtual address and will deny your application because of that.
I don't know how true that is. I recievecd really good credit cards with my personal credit and iv been using a virtual mailing address for my personal usage for several years. I got my irs documents credit cards and everything. Iv only know one credit union that was super picky but you can give them all of the information in the world and they don't approve anyone. It all depends on the lender.
Would you recommend already having your business bank account set up and using that to purchase your virtual address ?

When opening an LLC, you cannot use a virtual business address as your registered agent address. It should be a real, street address where legal correspondence is received.

Very helpful video. A couple follow up questions. 1) when I registered my LLC in CA, I put myself as the registered agent and my business address as my home address which now I regret. If I want to change this how do I do so? 2) Do I need both a virtual office and registered agent? I can still be the agent I just don’t want my business address to be my home address. On the flip side of I get a registered agent online will I be able to use their address as my business address? Thanks so much for your help.

I love the questions you asked. I am currently trying to create my LLC but im stuck on the registered agent part. I dont know what route to take on that. Were you able to find the answer to your first question?
I had a similar issue last year. I ended up hiring a company as my registered agent ($45/yr in my state) and changing my business address to a PO box. Since I had already done my annual registration with the secretary of state, I had to file paperwork to change all of that in the middle of the year. It was $50. Since it's the beginning of the year and registration is due in April, you can change it all now and include it on your annual registration. If you hire a registered agent, I don't think I'd recommend making their address your business address on your registration. You want your business address to be a place where you can receive mail. Which is why a lot of people will do PO boxes. I hope this helps!

My EIN is registered to my home address how can I change it I currently work out of my home based salon until I find the right spot for me
If I’m not mistaken it’ll be the same as certificate of change, but good question because I would like to know as well is there a difference?

since you need the address BEFORE you open the LLC (for business address on LLC filing paperwork), does this cause problems when filling out usps form 1583 for the sign up of these? since the forms asks the business name and phone number etc.. but the business isn’t formed yet because you need the business address is needed first?

@@meelie5734 i asked ipostal1 customer service and they said you can get the address and then file the llc with the address before you fill out the 1583 form then fill it out after the llc is filed with the business info

I obtained a Postal1 virtual address for my LLC and was told today by a clerk in the city of Suwanee, GA that they don't allow virtual business addresses. I have never heard of this. Has anyone else encountered this?

When we complete the ps 1583 form do we need to take it to the post office for verification?
This was informative with my search for a digital address, however my state or the address location is requiring me to complete a 1583 form that has to be notarized with personal info to prove identity I guess. I don't know if anyone else had to go through these extra steps 😕 inconvenient
