But the good thing is virat is hitting spinners deadly and even today his strike rate was about 200+ before that collapse happened

Gavaskar is literally pulling back the best batsman India has for no reason. He is just taking it personally and getting offended, not realizing that he's gonna be cheering from the sidelines for Kohli to pull off another miracle next month.
Gavaskar needs to realize that if he can give out his personal opinion and criticize a players performance, then the player also has a right to replay back and criticize the way a commentator made comments on the player's game. You question his job, he questions yours. But everyone is favoring Gavaskar's opinion, perfectly stating the like *"Twada Kutta Tommy, Sada Kutta Kutta"*
He doesn't listen to outside talk just means that IT DOESN'T AFFECT HIM. Of course, he knows the talks that happen around the country about his Strike rate and Inability to play spin, but everyone also has to realize that it doesn't affect his performances, we can see that on the ground too. Instead, he's been channelizing this hate into his performances, silencing anyone and everyone willing to criticize him.

Well said❤. While watching the match I always notice one thing about the commentators specially Akash Chopra he never appreciates RCB. If RCB plays well then its opponent team's bowlers fault. And if RCB bowlers doesn't perform well then it's opposite team's batters credit. I mean like seriously!!!! And Virat always replies through his game but because of someone's hype don't shadow other players. Sachin Sir, Dhoni sir played for India and Virat Sir and Rohit Sir will also one day play their last match.

It was getting too much, just specifically targeting VK by analysing his each ball evry single match even if it was not RCB’s match to emphasize that modern day cricket approach by contexting it indirectly whereas there are others who may not perform to the best regularly but are not looked in the same scrutinized way. One can easily understand AGENDA of specific individuals from their tweets. Even he didn’t targeted someone specifically if someone wants to take upon themselves then they may have been doing in that thing in such a way.
But yeah as u rightly said broadcasters should stop overhyping individuals as it has restricted upcoming talent’s appreciation to a great extent. Giving the uncapped young or deserving talent their due promotion is neccessary to have better progressive cricketing culture in future.
Best opinion on broadcasters, the same thing happened with CSK vs Punjab. Dhoni was clearly wrong not taking that run but all the commentators are constantly defending him and encouraging this thing..

When you talk about the 2022 T20 WC game against Pakistan, Star Sports did a show with Virat Kohli about it and hyped up his contribution (no offense, his contribution was very important), but Hardik Pandya also had an equally important role. No one talks about him.

Gavaskar always shows his hatred towards Virat. Be it personal or professional, he always crosses the line and target Virat. He was a average cricketer who only got highlighted because of lack of competition from Indian batters. Even during 1983 world cup, he didn’t make any impact.
Virat has all right to speak for himself as he is the most hated cricketer in India for no reason. Even after playing for so many years, these agenda peddlers show disrespect towards him. Virat deserves better, he should be celebrated as a national icon, he is doing everything possible in his capacity.
