    Hm. I work on the river and walking on steel barges means the deck temperature is usually hot af in the summer. This might actualy help keep my boots dry and cool

    I do the same in construction. Try merino wool for the second layer bro.

      Yea marion wool is the move! I just try and share tips that privates in the Army can use. They have very little spending money and definitely aren't using it to buy socks that would make their life easier. 😂

      No, the first layer is a very thin polyester sock. Usually an issued dress sock. Fox River makes a sock liner that I would highly recommend. This is just a cheaper method. Can buy expensive Marion wool socks too.
