Danny - Ever since your lesson with Pete Cowen your brilliant teaching has inspired this 80 year-old to remodel his swing. Hitting the ball confidently with more distance and consistency is a real joy. The Masters was on my bucket list and I was at Augusta for the day last Friday - suddenly my golf has a new lease of life! Growing older doesn't have to diminish enjoyment of this wonderful game. Robbie
Sooo many instruction videos out there and trying to incorporate all those minute details into 1.5 seconds of a golf swing is so difficult!! I've been watching Danny Maude's videos for 2 years now. Lots of tips I've found working great for me. But essentially, 2 videos most recently have done the trick! First one was where Danny takes lessons from James Tait to drive long. The weight shifting tips there really helped, but more so, remembering to free up and swing hard in downswing. Second one is this video. "Impact happens at your side". This has become my mantra and this one sentence has brilliantly changed my game! My drives have gone from 210 ish to 254 yards in 2 rounds. My iron game is more accurate. My chips are stopping within 4 feet. My round score went from around 98 to 87. What more could you want??? Thanks Danny, you're a gem! 😊
I love both videos also. I carry a towel to the range now but the reverse hands concept to train loading in the backswing and high hands with the towel are hard to pull off together.
Graphics on this are a great help. We could see that the Pete Cowen input was pure golf wisdom but your teaching of it is getting through to us average golfers. Thanks as always Danny.
Danny-this is such a brilliant explanation/demonstration of Pete's lesson, and your deep understanding of his/your insights. So well done! One of my favorite posts to date. THANK YOU!
Danny, I have watched just about all videos about the golf swing. This is a light bulb moment for me. I've played for many years, and just taken the game back up, and have been struggling.. I watched this and it is the first time I have seen the impact with the body inline AT the hit point. I tried this and hit the ball with good contact ever since. Thank you.
Simply the best golf instruction video I have ever seen. Why - Because it really works. Take from an old golfer who has tried everything before. Danny is spot on, if you don’t load correctly its impossible to deliver efficiently.
I like how he explains everything in simple terms, so we can understand what he means. He has helped my game so much, I am finally shooting in the mid to low 80's.
Danny, I have to agree with others that your explanation is pure gold as is the wisdom of Peter Cowen. I have been working on this expressly, so seeing this video just adds to my current success. I was looking for more compression because I could barely get my 7 iron to 150 now things are falling into place and with a little work I will easily get by 150 and more like 160. I live at sea-level here in the Northwest USA and very heavy air, so 160 is very good around here. Thanks much for the follow up, I was waiting for it.
Nothing really new to me from your last videos on this topic, following the session with the great Pete Cowen. BUT the key in this video for me were the "edges" to watch out for! They help me big time to avoid the sneaky little impuls to start too early after transition with the arms and/or too late with the body which results in an ever so slight out to in impact...this will definitely help me getting instant feedback while practicing those movements slowly. Thank you so much for the visuals, which make it so bright clear!
Danny, you are one of the few golf RUclips creators that use the terms forward and Trail instead of left and right so we southpaws do not go insane trying to reverse your words in real time. Not lost on us! Thank you so much for this small but huge consideration
Excellent follow-up from your experience with Pete. You've translated his wisdom into a pragmatic breakdown for us mortals. Big thanks! One thing I really found helpful (for my case): I bought an additional 7-iron (used) and asked the seller if they could replace the grip with one of those Super Stroke big putter grips, and have the flat part rotated 45 degrees to the right (clockwise). This really helped me in getting the right feel of where the palm of my right hand should be in the upswing but also in top position, transition and downswing.
@@DanielMaude I did a search today to figure out where this idea came from....and turns out it was in one of your earlier videos, haha. Brilliant. Thank you again. Really helps me.
Danny, your original Pete Cowen video and your recent chipping video - "turn the chest - don't swing the arms" - has changed my game. Scored in low 80's in 5 recent matches. The goal this season is to consistently shoot my age (77) or better - need to shave 5-6 strokes - as you know the game is on the green, would love to see a putting video !. Thank you for your consistent common sense instructions to help amateur golfers improve. Thank you Coach Danny!
Awesome! Keep it up and good luck. For putting, I'd recommend getting Bob Rotella's Putting Out Of Your Mind. It will remind you that putting is the easiest part of the game and the one you're naturally good at! Have a great season fella.
@@rolirolster thank you for the response and link to Bob Rotella. Headed there now. Looks like pros average 28 + - putts per round. Last two games had 34 putts. Six stroke difference on the green! Cheers.
Another great lesson and concept. In my 89 years I'm sure I must have seen this move a boat-load of times BUT NEVER articulated in a way that drives the hitting off the right side so clearly. This really got my attention to FINISH the backswing before starting down. Thanks for the help. Stay well-Russ
89, awesome! I turned 70 last July and took up golf again in earnest in September (didn't play for 9 years...). I was wondering how many years I had left, great to read that you're still golf-active at 89 🤩
Danny these videos about Pete Cowans swing philosophy has done more for helping me achieve a solid golf swing then even my in person lessons with the CPGA coach I do at my course. Thank you!!!
I didn''t fully understand the Cowen video... however this video is GREAT! I don't think I realized you hit the ball with the trail side... I tried it today and it made a huge improvement in my swing, driver, fairway and irons. It stopped my over-the-top misses. BRILLIANT!!!
Thanks Danny - your video with Pete had a more positive effect on my swing than anything else I’ve seen or been taught over the years. I love the additional material you have provided since then to help us understand how to put it into practice. I’m getting there with my irons but not so much with the driver. Please could you do a video with your driver showing how best to adjust to hitting up on the ball with this approach.
Great explanation, great video. This technique simplifies the golf swing immensely. I have spent many hours trying to contort my body to the correct position. This explanation makes the golf swing a natural athletic movement and puts you in the correct position for an effortless downswing. Thank you. Cheers
This was the lesson that I needed this week. The earlier Pete Cowen video you did was eye-opening. This one helps put his advice into practice. Thanks!
Danny, thank you so much. I have been using your lessons and I am getting better and better every time I get on the range. I can't thank you enough for bringing the fun back into my game......
Another above-average lesson, Danny! You've highlighted the key to your 1.24M subscription rate - your ability to simplify fairly complicated golf swing/motion concepts. Well done. Thanks for sticking to your lane - golf instruction - and not venturing into other avenues, like some of your contemporaries have.
Thanks Danny. Watching the pros yesterday at The RBC Heritage at Hilton Head, this is exactly what I saw them doing. The concept of driving the trail side down and through the ball keeping the right arm tracking with the trail side, is the magic move that’s been missing in my swing. Can’t wait to try this.
Thanks Danny, with your help i have been able to better load my club, and then made more attention on my downswing. It is strange and wired because it seems to me that you had already explained it in a video with Pete Cowen, It helped my in my swing a little. But this time and I don't really understand why, it help me to improve the consistence and the speed of my swing much better. As a senior golfer I also appreciate the videos with your dad , it is very helpfull
I have been struggling mightily with my long irons for several months and this video is just what I needed to start crisping my 4 & 5….i did the cross handed backswing and paid attention to how various parts of my body were feeling as I was “loading my spring” and omg I was striking the ball cleanly and effortlessly…I’ve been enjoying all of your highly descriptive videos and have subscribed, but this one really struck home with me!! Thank you very much Danny! 🙏🏼
Have to concur with much that’s been said. Since your Pete Cowen lesson, and subsequent breakdown and re-phrasing, been incorporating your YT lessons (drills) into my own swing while monitoring it on a SkyTrak driving range in my back yard deck. I’m slowly getting back my pre-2018 numbers (when I dropped out of golf) of carry, contact and shape. 71 yrs old now, and many thanks to you, am really enjoying the simple act of hitting a solid ball again. I feel as though I’m working with a teacher (who I understand) again and couldn’t be happier. Cheers…
That’s why I look forward to Saturday morning videos. Another great instructional video with easy, common sense instruction that’s easy to understand. 👍
Danny, brilliant breakdown of your lesson with Pete Cowen! It was a bit confusing but with your explanation and video helped me understand it so much better. Best golf coach on the internet!
I’ve been following you and some other well known golf instructors on RUclips for the past few years, and every time a new video comes out I’ve always thought that this is going to change my game, but it never really does. Until now, this has been the lesson I was waiting for. Like a lot of other subscribers, I was a bit confused with some aspects of your session with Pete Cowen, but this has clarified it beyond doubt. My trail side has never been in this position at impact, but now it just makes so much sense. I only wished I’d known this when I first started playing over 50 years ago.
Excellent job Danny on explaining the outcome of your session with Pete Cowen's! I like your recommendation of the reverse hand drill to mimic this motion of loading and unloading the golf swing. The idea of the trail side of the body adding power to the golf swing is a good one. Letting the shoulder come down, not out on the downswing is also important. I very much liked what this entire video is suggesting to do and I will definitely be using it! I also am archiving this video for future reference!! Well Done Danny!
Brilliant Danny. This is exactly what my instructor has been getting me to do. The results have been good but he didn’t explain why. Thank you so much for filling in the gaps and explaining what not to do during the drills. Very helpful.
Pete and Malaska really do teacher very similar methods. I didn’t realize it until this video. Thanks for the video Danny your explanations are simple and concise.
Thanks Danny for translating Pete Cowan’s valuable advice. Impact happens on the trail side - fantastic imagery, a light bulb moment for me 💡. Can’t wait to try it out later.
Thank you Danny, that is really illuminating. When Pete said "spin it down", I (and perhaps a lot of others) thought "what does that mean?" Your communication skills are a great help.
Absolutely amazing video again, Danny. I love that you practice what pete cowen has shown you, and then you simplify the session for everyone. Regards Kev Birch
Great explanation. I’ve been getting flicky again and noticed that some of my best shots were from tough lies where I felt like I really had to put my full body into my swing. Those were the swings where my body really turned through the swing! I think keeping this in mind could really help me remind me of those good swings. Great lesson.
@@DanielMaude This is fabulous. I worked on this on the launch monitor and in my yard, where I have a 120yd section. I was sending my 49 degree wedge into the woods and my 54 was now carrying 105-110 yds. Previously, I was averaging about 105 with the 49 degree and 85 yards with the 54! As always, great training videos. Thank you.
Thanks Danny, excellent instruction and you simplified the video for amateur golfers, love the swing thought of holding the waiter's tray to correctly load the backswing. The lesson stresses as you demonstrate you must make impact with the right side of the body and not in front of you. Was at the range today and with a little practice, the majority of my iron shots were compressed and zipped off the face with bite, beats the old loopy high manipulated shots. Slow back and fire the right side as fast as I can and works a dream. In addition this instruction works for driver, fairway woods and hybrids haven't tried the putter yet 😅.
Am new to golf and after watching different things on RUclips I found your channel. Every video is full of knowledge and really well put together. Really like the fact you break it down into different drills to achieve the final full finished exercise. Could of gave up on golf last year until watching and improving with your videos
Took your lesson with Pete into 3 sim range session before my first round of the year yesterday. Totally changed my swing, but I was still inconsistent. After watching this, I can tell I'm doing the same thing you were - loading, but driving the hands and getting into hook territory. It felt right, but this cleared up what I was doing wrong! Thanks for being awesome Danny.
Thanks for follow-up and clarity Danny, from first video, I tried to swing too far in reverse hand drill and felt strain in rear shoulder. Freer swing and description here helped a lot; continuing to try and grove it in.
I watched a lesson this afternoon 4/24/24 on the golf channel. It was just after a "Classic Round", in this case Rory at Valhalla, I think 2014. It was a lesson just after and I believe the instructor may have been linked to Taylormade. Anyhow, your tip with the palm being like a waiters or for us less flexible guys "sideways" was excellent. This instructor likened it to throwing a yoyo down from that wrist position. However the key point he made which I didn't see here, was to bend that trailing elbow, it was that bend that held significant spring force along with the uncocking of the wrist. I have previously tried to keep the trailing elbow more straight, but using this straighter posture it minimized the wrist cock which I didn't realize. Now understanding that the elbow bend significantly improved the wrist cock, then applying the palm down (throw the yoyo or bounce the ball) significantly improved my impact height and distance. I love your imagination Danny, it's getting the golfer to feel a swing in his mind and execute. Your ability for us amateurs to imagine the feel in our mind is the key. Bounce the ball........
Danny, these last two videos, especially this one, has given me a way of developing a non-flippy swing. I watched to original video and it did not contain the key insight in this one that you hit with the trail side. Swinging cack-handed into the backswing instead of placing it there also helped me a lot. I think the last video is key to getting momentum and speed. I'm just psyched to work on this more. Thank you! Now we just need the Danny Maude translation of "spinning the right arm down." I know, greedy right?
Danny- I watched this video yesterday morning about 8 AM and thought about it all day as I attended the annual meeting of the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association, participated in my weekly Sat tennis clinic, and played a men’s 45 and over USTA doubles match (happy to say my partner and I won 6-2, 7-5). The sun was setting when I finally got to the course and I said to myself: “Keep it tight … Wind it up … Turn the shoulders … Hit from the trail side ….” Wow! All the videos you’ve shared (especially the ones with Pete Cowen) came together and I hit four of the purest 7-iron shots ever. For guys like me who usually score (let’s be honest) 100+ when we play 18 holes, being able to figure out how to swing the club and make contact Ike that on a consistent basis would be so amazing! Thank you for all of your wonderful videos and for helping me and everyone else have hope we can actually play this game and improve our swings to become better ball strikers. Thank you Danny. I’ve learned and am continuing to learn so much from you! 😊🎉
Thanks Danny great lesson as ever. Consistent theme here about this "tight feel" in the back swing. Seem to recall a lesson a couple of weeks ago on set up, where you suggested holding the club out in front of you horizontally pressing inwards to get the v shape before the back swing and maintaining it through the swing and through contact and follow through. This did wonders for me. I see this lesson as building on it. Thanks again.😅
Awesome stuff Danny Boy! One variable I started to consider is while concentrating on turning your trail side it’s good to keep in mind: don’t let the trail arm/elbow get stuck behind you.
been working on this technique, however I have a lot of problems translating it to my driver. Would love to see a video getting into the cowen spin it down concept, but with driver.
Thanks again for the excellent content. I will say my contact and compression of the ball have improved. Once I can get my left side to clear properly, which I have been slowly getting better at, my game will be night and day. I mostly focus on my right forearm pressure and clearing my hips for now. My bad shots are starting to be more playable now. Short but not losing any balls. Thank you so much!!!
Great video Danny. Always appreciated how you share your own knowledge and that of the great coaches who you meet, always in an understandable way. Excellent graphics on this one too! Congratulations on being a cover star this month as well on Today’s Golfer!
Really enjoyed this video lesson, what would be your best drill for a senior golfer (68) to help get his weight to his lead side. I struggle with balance and transferring my weight to the lead foot. TIA!!
Fantastic repeatability and quality of ball strike, great lesson. 2 questions Danny if you don’t mind. 1. Hitting great right to left shots, but how do I hit fades with this technique? 2. When trying to hit my driver/3 wood I hit the ball too high and loss distance. Thanks John Lanaghan
Thanks Danny. Really like this video. Very clearly explained. For me getting loaded on the backswing means making sure my hips turn back more. Otherwise I have a tendency to just lift the club up to the top with my arms. I’ll try the reverse hands drill to see if it helps me with loading the backswing 😎
Some players feel it in their left side. This video will help with that: ruclips.net/video/37VNhoqqdAA/видео.htmlsi=dQKnQJxejGIc4Hgh Or this one ruclips.net/video/n4NcQMsxKSU/видео.htmlsi=kmf1xcOJVaB_5gEh
Very good visual Danny on turning the trail side to the ball. I go sometimes too fast and not execute this. Definitely will practice this to increase better ball contact and coming from the inside, not over the top. Thanks again for a great lesson and visual.
Great recap, Danny. When I saw your video on this last time, I didn’t quite pay attention to clearing the trail side so well. Excellent presentation this time. 👍
Brilliant Danny I was working on shoulder loading but wasn’t quite getting it this is the bit I was missing so good. It was soooo close but the trail side striking was missing.
Wow. Another great video I think it’s just what I need. Your earlier PC video really helped me but I wasn’t flowing enough to the top and I think hitting from the trail side, rotating around my front leg, will be the piece I need to complete my swing. Look out par! (Ok maybe bogey to start).
Game changer for me Danny “Impact happens on the trail side of the body”. First time I’ve come across this, as I was always concentrated on driving the right shoulder through which had me flipping. Great explanation 👍
Great lesson Danny! I really struggle with the flick and hook and need to work on tightening up and turning that corner. I'll give the cack hand drill a go!
Danny, these are not just the best but the only golf lessons everyone should watch. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and your dedication to the game! I feel like you should be invoicing me 😂
Hi Danny. Thanks for another easily digestible video. I wonder if this video could be somewhat incorporated into your 9-3 drill. More specifically the impact position portion of this video.
So awesome to see you follow up on this, especially after all the benefits I got from the first video recently! The trail side movement I think is something I was picking up from the previous video which was giving me the better hits which lead to that 77 I played on the sim. I have played since then, but because I didn't really understand what had worked and nailed that feel I definitely backslid. So this was VERY timely lol.

@theocn10 thank you so much for your feedback. I really appreciate it 🙏🏻
Excellent job Danny on explaining the outcome of your session with Pete Cowen's!
Thanks John appreciate the feedback and support 😁
Brilliant Danny. This is exactly what my instructor has been getting me to do. The results have been good but he didn’t explain why. Thank you so much for filling in the gaps and explaining what not to do during the drills. Very helpful.
Really happy to help
Simple and it works. 40 years of avoiding hitting over the top cured. Thank you
@MegaHolein1 Glad it helped. Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Pete and Malaska really do teacher very similar methods. I didn’t realize it until this video. Thanks for the video Danny your explanations are simple and concise.
Pleasure Nathan
Thanks Danny for translating Pete Cowan’s valuable advice. Impact happens on the trail side - fantastic imagery, a light bulb moment for me 💡. Can’t wait to try it out later.
Have fun Colin
Thank you Danny, that is really illuminating. When Pete said "spin it down", I (and perhaps a lot of others) thought "what does that mean?" Your communication skills are a great help.
really happy to help
Excellent video Danny you and Pete are Phenomenal instructor's!!!!!
@MrKingdonuts thank you so much. Appreciate your comment 🙏🏻
Absolutely amazing video again, Danny. I love that you practice what pete cowen has shown you, and then you simplify the session for everyone. Regards Kev Birch
Thanks Kev!
Great explanation. I’ve been getting flicky again and noticed that some of my best shots were from tough lies where I felt like I really had to put my full body into my swing. Those were the swings where my body really turned through the swing! I think keeping this in mind could really help me remind me of those good swings. Great lesson.
Love that image
Well done and thank you for taking the time to comment 😁👍
Thanks Danny. I am curious about diving more into Pete's methodology, but not much is available online. This helps.
Glad it was helpful Tony
Am new to golf and after watching different things on RUclips I found your channel. Every video is full of knowledge and really well put together. Really like the fact you break it down into different drills to achieve the final full finished exercise. Could of gave up on golf last year until watching and improving with your videos
@Gigabites64 really pleased you like my video. Thank you for your support 🙏🏻
Great lesson this morning Danny. It makes perfect sense when you explain it. Thanks
My pleasure Alan
thanks danny, i can really feel the loading with these drills. new to golf and this is giving me a great foundation
Thank you Brandon! Appreciate the support 😁
Whoa whoa game changer so simple. What a blessing and now have hope for my golf game. Many thanks Danny!
@jhopau78 Glad you enjoyed my video. Thank you for your comment 🙏🏻
Your best lesson yet Danny, and I don't say that lightly. Mr Cowan has the knowledge but you're the best teacher. Very many thanks!
Thank you Tim happy to help!
@ggriff I’m really glad this has helped you. Thank you so much for your comment. I really appreciate it 🙏🏻
Thanks for follow-up and clarity Danny, from first video, I tried to swing too far in reverse hand drill and felt strain in rear shoulder. Freer swing and description here helped a lot; continuing to try and grove it in.
Happy to help Patrick!
I agree. Great graphics. Fantastic. Helps a lot. I'm still flicking, this will help me. Thanks Danny, your the best.
Glad you liked them, it’s great to have an editor on board now
I watched a lesson this afternoon 4/24/24 on the golf channel.
This is a fabulous lesson Danny. Thank so very much 😊
You are very welcome
Thanks for passing this on Danny. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Danny , los de habla hispana te agradecemos enormemente que hagas este video tan importante en español. Gracias
el video es muy bueno.
I have been working on keeping my back to the target longer, which has helped. It will be interesting to try this turn w/o undoing that.
The key William is making sure you have loaded the backswing first.
Thank you! The explanation is very clear and you described my swing fault to the tee. I will give this a try at the range.
&TheKent2288 Glad it was helpful. Thank you so much for your comment 🙏🏻
Brilliant Matt, well done 🙌 thanks for taking the time to comment. Appreciate your support and feedback 👍
That is brilliant - many of us have spent 90% of a business conference thinking about golf. 😂
Ha ha!!! True John!
Absolutely Brian, tightness in the right places can be a good thing
Awesome demonstration and explanation. I will take it to the range and give it a try!
Nice one Danny
Thank you Ed!
Danny .... best instruction and display to achieve pure ball striking with every club in the bag! Great lesson! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sent right into my saved videos!
@brianrailing2363 really pleased my video has helped you. Appreciate your comments 🙏🏻
Great suggestion!
Legend Danny! Thanks for this! Lightbulb moment indeed!
You are very welcome
Thanks again for the excellent content. I will say my contact and compression of the ball have improved. Once I can get my left side to clear properly, which I have been slowly getting better at, my game will be night and day. I mostly focus on my right forearm pressure and clearing my hips for now. My bad shots are starting to be more playable now. Short but not losing any balls. Thank you so much!!!
@BennyNieces-wl8mb thank you so much for your lovely comments. I really appreciate it 🙏🏻
Great video Danny. Always appreciated how you share your own knowledge and that of the great coaches who you meet, always in an understandable way. Excellent graphics on this one too! Congratulations on being a cover star this month as well on Today’s Golfer!
Really kind Tom, hope you have been keeping well
Great lesson Danny with more logic - never thought of the trail side interacting with the swing!
Happy to help John
Great video! I appreciate showing a front view as well; it helps with different views.
Thank you!
I forget where but this tip your giving here was explained to me as forcing your forearm behind the elbow. Changed my game.
Awesome to hear
"Impact happens on the trail side." - Little gems like that make you the best coach on RUclips. Once again, thank you, Danny.
Feeling like impact needs to happen on the trail side makes most people hit behind the ball
Thank you! Appreciate the support 😁
Great video that has simplified the 1.5 seconds for me. Quick question: do you squat a little on the back swing to create more power and tension?
Really enjoyed this video lesson, what would be your best drill for a senior golfer (68) to help get his weight to his lead side. I struggle with balance and transferring my weight to the lead foot. TIA!!
Hi Tim, did you see this video ruclips.net/video/HypQnx_JLOo/видео.htmlsi=xaUSUaIrmgbkoHd4
That’s it David 🤜🏻🤛🏼
Thank you Dany for your last vidéos ; what is the rôle of the left side and particularly in the downswing ?
Some players feel it in their left side. This video will help with that: ruclips.net/video/37VNhoqqdAA/видео.htmlsi=dQKnQJxejGIc4Hgh
Or this one
ruclips.net/video/n4NcQMsxKSU/видео.htmlsi=kmf1xcOJVaB_5gEh
Excellent video! The explanation was brilliant!
@claytonjoseph9408 thank you. Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
I actually started this from your video with Pete and it helped my irons and driver so much! Again, a great lesson Danny!
Really happy to help Brad
Very good visual Danny on turning the trail side to the ball. I go sometimes too fast and not execute this. Definitely will practice this to increase better ball contact and coming from the inside, not over the top. Thanks again for a great lesson and visual.
Happy to help Robert!
Simplified it again Danny ,another great video, cheers 👍
Thanks 👍 Chris
Strike happens on the right side of the body
... why have i notheard this before this has absolutely transformed my game !
Subscribed .thankyou
Awesome to hear Alan
Danny, thanks for this great new video. It has helped a lot in hitting better shots at the course this weekend !
Well done 🙌
Great recap, Danny. When I saw your video on this last time, I didn’t quite pay attention to clearing the trail side so well. Excellent presentation this time. 👍
Thanks Veeru hope it helps 👍
Agree the two with the forearm twist did it for me.
That’s great to hear
Brilliant Danny I was working on shoulder loading but wasn’t quite getting it this is the bit I was missing so good. It was soooo close but the trail side striking was missing.
Glad you enjoyed it Jon
Danny, another great video and have learnt something to help my swing. Your videos are so good and easy to follow. Thanks again
@JohnFranco-ht4bp than you so much for your comments. Your feedback really means a lot 🙏🏻
Great stuff Danny.....Are the principles that you showed with an iron in this video the same with the driver? Thank you.....
Absolutely Tom
You did it again Danny !! Another 5 star tip . Thanks so much!!
Thank you Duncan!
Wow. Another great video I think it’s just what I need. Your earlier PC video really helped me but I wasn’t flowing enough to the top and I think hitting from the trail side, rotating around my front leg, will be the piece I need to complete my swing.
Look out par! (Ok maybe bogey to start).
Have fun
Game changer for me Danny “Impact happens on the trail side of the body”. First time I’ve come across this, as I was always concentrated on driving the right shoulder through which had me flipping. Great explanation 👍
Thank you Ron!
Great lesson Danny! I really struggle with the flick and hook and need to work on tightening up and turning that corner. I'll give the cack hand drill a go!
Let me know how you get on David 👍
Danny, these are not just the best but the only golf lessons everyone should watch. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and your dedication to the game! I feel like you should be invoicing me 😂
Really happy to help
Hi Danny. Thanks for another easily digestible video. I wonder if this video could be somewhat incorporated into your 9-3 drill. More specifically the impact position portion of this video.
Once again great lesson Danny!
Really kind Walter
I’m the guy that you met in Manhattan Beach back in January! Your lessons are great for us Northeast golfers who have to be indoors all winter!
@@walterbrasch2812 thank you Walter, great to meet you. Will be back there in January
Love this! I can follow this easier than the Pete lesson. Love the spring analogy!
Thanks Beth!
Once again great exercise Danny thanks 😊
Pleasure Keith
So awesome to see you follow up on this, especially after all the benefits I got from the first video recently! The trail side movement I think is something I was picking up from the previous video which was giving me the better hits which lead to that 77 I played on the sim. I have played since then, but because I didn't really understand what had worked and nailed that feel I definitely backslid. So this was VERY timely lol.
Happy to help!
