The actor playing the blond guy is so good. His facial expressions are extraordinary. Masterfully expressing a rage of emotions in their purest form. Even among well know actors I’ve rarely seen such expressiveness
Maybe you like the Eyewitness series as well. You can see their reactions and feelings so well on their faces and their gesture... Never seen that anywhere else.
Y'all, if you want to be hurt more, I suggest reading the book where this was based on! It's called Dance on my Grave by Aidan Chambers. The book, tho characters have different names, delve deeper into the characters of both Hal and Barry (David and Alex in the movie). Hal's as well an interesting character and his wit in the book-especially during his monologues, POV-is the best! The movie captures the vibe of the book spectacularly 😍. I love both! 🥰

Why everybody loves the story so much? Only first 65% are fantastic, than all went wrong and nobody really supports Alex and what really happened. Shame on producers directors investors marketing etc, you should uplift young gays and not constantly turn them down with accident violence and death in gay movies. Why no happy end in well produced gay movies? Its f**king 2020!

You know, I can handle, but young people (trying to find their identity) should be supported/uplifted and not left alone with constantly sad stories in gay movies. I tested many many short gay movies on yt, majority bad ending! Why?
@@rebelheart3840 read "red white & royal blue " it is a book about gay men , they have a happy ending , there is even a movie or read" maurice" , it was made in 1914 and there is also a movie about it it's a bit sad in the middle but with a happy gay ending Or watch heartstopper, or love,simon , happy endings to them too

I know there r good happy lgbtiq+ stories out there, but social media promotes negative stories unfortunately. I by myself know, but young people dont really know the mechanisms of social media and how they influence them. I just want to shine a light on this topic, but being aware that almost nobody will read my msg.

@@lechantdesmots97 Yeah you're right, he is already dead at beginning actually, this movie is so beautiful yet so tragic, do you think David really loved Alex? Because in the fight he said that there was only a flirt with the english girl but he lied, because the girl confirmed they slept together and he basically try to seduce everyone, even the professor. Or it was like the girl said, that Alex idealized him and he was a jerk despite Alex loved him so much?
