Her highest note is a G#7. That is 7 half steps higher. If you are a baritone and hit a C5 then that wouldn't be considered a chest note, it was probably a mix because just chest is bad. I would also avoid going to the F6 or F#6 if you're straining too much. Hitting those notes is not worth permanantly damaging your voice.
Angel Perez A baritone should top off at A/B4 (these are the lucky ones...most top off closer to F-G4.)........and sing down to C-B2.........I think he may in fact be a tenor if he can hit C5......Again it all depends on the natural placement of the voice, not the range itself. Either way....a Baritone can't hit C5 or ANYTHING near it in chest....they'd be lucky to hit anything that high at all.....

In my experience, I used to be able to hit up to B4 and Down to B2 in my Early puberty, so then my music teachers believed I Was a low tenor; but as I grew and started taking classical music lessons and opera singing lessons I found out I am a lyric baritone (high baritone). Now I can hit Down to F2 but hit up to A4. To be considered a tenor (Any type of tenor) you need to be able to hit up to C5 at least.

I heard higher than that. But Mariah Carey, for me, is the only singer that can sing extremely high in chest notes and whistle notes. She can belt them extremely high notes while keeping it under control. She is a brilliant and talented female singer and she deservs to be called a Diva. She Rocks.
