    I agree with Jon 100 percent. Machado is San Diego this is his team. He's gonna make the hall of fame. If he wins a world series he will get it. No doubt.

    IMO, Musgrove can get one for having the first and no no-hitter for the Brown and Gold. Machado is the HR leader for Petco Park, but I think he needs more Playoff runs. A WS would definitely earn it though.

      If they win a world series and someone like Machado makes the HOF yes there will be a statue

    I say Jake Peavy could he won a cy young and had the most strikeouts in padres history ,also was 3rd in wins in padres history .

    they're talking about statues as baseball heads, and that's fine. But as non-locals, they don't understand how these things resonate for local San Diegans. Gwynn and and Hoffman were about much more than just baseball.
