Before Pac fought ODLH, Manny had already beaten 3 all time greats (Morales, Barrera and JMM), 1 good fighter in Lledwaba and 1 decent fighter in David Diaz. I agree with you. Manny was already a first ballot HOF and the best 130 pounder to have ever lived before he fought ODLH.
I think before Pac fought ODLH, only boxing fans knew who Pac was. But after Pac fought ODLH, everybody knew who Pac was. So ODLH has a point here but he just said it incorrectly.

The F? We already knew pac before he fought oscar. He has legendary fights against Morales, Barrera, and Marquez.
280M and 250M for fighting Conor and manny. Floyd got some stupid crazy guarantees
Floyd's guarantee for Manny was only $100M. But because the PPV buys were so good, Floyd eventually got $250M+ for the Manny fight. There are rumours that Floyd got about $300M for the Manny fight if you add the sponsorship revenue, gate revenue, close circuit gate revenue and international PPV's.
That didn't happen. Do the math. Pay per views sold multiplied by the price of the fight. Mayweather got paid but he never made 100 million. The math has to add up. Don't forget that everyone has to make money not just floyd.
Mayweather blew thru a lot of his earnings. He's still doing exhibition fights just to pay the bills. Gotti vs Mayweather 2 ppv.
