Theres safety “latch’s” on the front of the wreckers deck to keep it held securely down while transporting. Have to slide deck back a foot or 2 before tilting up. Passenger sides “latch” is broken thats why it tilted sideways.

@jason9022 no, but it will be interesting to see the rats and biohazards created by MrBeast continued use of food products and painting fumes from all the "content" they make and don't clean up properly. Don't get me wrong, Beast does funny stuff but that warehouse is like a frat house and I just HOPE they CLEAN it properly before someone gets seriously sick. Plus, have you noticed Beast has "moved away" from their previous use of firearms/guns in their content??? Many of their "GUN" use videos have ridiculous basic safety issues about them which make me, and I'm sure other SAFE gun owners, cringe At least CM and his crew take basic safety precautions when they are using/abusing automotive stuff.

Hey Cletus As a ex wrecker driver I'll give you a recommendation with the flatbed do not rev it to high with the PTO pump going because you will grenade that pump and those are really pricey rev if needed about a grand max And by the way not bad for a Chevy flatbed sitting for 2 years and the tractor The freedom factory is coming together hell ya brother

The flatbed has latches the bed slides into when it's all the way forward that keeps the bed from going up and holds it down while the PTO is off and you're hauling something on it. You have to slide the bed back about a foot before lifting it.

This is a smaller version of when my friend bought what he thought was a small abandoned building and lot that was surrounded by fence w barbwire to start a shop and store cars & bikes. Bought it from City Auction for unpaid taxes around $7000.00. When they took possession and entered the shop they found a late 80’s tow truck with ALL the gear and extra dolly’s, chains, strapping, etc ($5000/$8000). Then under a HEAVY cover in the corner was a 1970’s Cadillac coupe convertible in PERFECT condition with 2500 miles on it. Someone had put boxes of mothballs in the trunk, engine, and the floorboards to keep out the rats. Boxes were empty but the mothball smell lingered enough and it worked. We flagged down a local cop and explained what we found. He was cool and HONEST by telling us “If I run these VIN #’s now and they comeback stolen I’m required to tow them out of here. You ‘might’ want to go to DMV and just apply for ‘lost titles’ and if there aren’t ANY claims/flags on the titles they are LEGALLY yours...” He didn’t have to give us that “option” but it was VERY cool for him to tell us that “option” Because that’s what we did. Both tow truck and Caddie fired up fine and just needed good cleaning and regular maintenance. We sold the Cadillac for 45k and it paid for WHOLE PLACE plus ALL the repairs to the car lifts hydraulics, new epoxy floor, oil burning heater system, etc.
Anyway, it’s going to be interesting to see what else these guys “find” along the way here with their new “playground”...👍👍

Here's my tip for US. Research your local surrounding city/townships tax auctions. They happen every month to 3 months. You can sometimes get PRE-INFO on cars, trucks, motorcycles, AND BUILDINGS (MAYBE A RACETRACK! LOL!). With the buildings you typically can't "LEGALLY" get in them, or on the property. But I've known people who have "accessed" (trespassed) the properties and I don't condone that😎😀😎😀😎... You can get these items for next to nothing and START YOUR DREAMS. Who knows! Vid-Document your experience and share it with us all and maybe you WILL end up getting a race track!! Or becoming the successful person you worked hard for. One other tip. Keep your research as LOW KEY as possible to not "tip off" others what YOU are after. It will keep the bids down, or even make YOURS the ONLY BID. 👍GOOD LUCK AND FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!

flipnotrab yeah I remember some RUclipsr found a lambo countach for cheap as hell, and he stupidly posted about it before buying it and it was sold within like an hour of the video going live. Staying low key is definitely one of the most important steps in find great deals and is often overlooked.

so true , i have one i keep down at my parents place just for doing work on the property with , its got 2 blown head gaskets , and a blown transmission pump seal , i guarantee it starts and drives with just a new battery and a quart of trans fluid lol.

Most States have a "green incentive" to convert old lighting to new LED lighting - My old storage shop and yard I got a 30K job paid for by the government for around $1600 out of pocket! Look up what your state has, may save you a craaaap ton of money on lighting.
I can confirm this. We converted all our lights to LED at my work and the gov paid for majority of it and Its a tax write off lol
So , when you say the government ( we are the government) and subsides, it's welfare, something for nothing.

So perfect that the track had only been closed for a fairly short amount of time. Improves the odds that the machinery and equipment there can be brought back into service with not too much effort. I was totally thrilled to see that it looks like there was no evidence of vandalism at least that shown in the videos. You guys rocked it!

I'm having major Cars 2 flashbacks when they arrived at the old Thomasville track and lit it up for the first time in years. I have a feeling the restoration of the track and facility will go smooth based on how happy the tractor and ramp truck were when they were started for the first time in years. It might sound stupid, but that track is happy you are there!

I have been a heavy equipment mechanic for 20 years and I would have bet a significant amount of money that backhoe would've been much harder to start. Congratulations. Oh, a little mechanics cloth on those cylinder Rams will smooth out the rust and help the seals last longer.
Take a ball of alluminium foil and rub it on the chrome it will clean the chrome and fill the pits with the allu. Works great on anything chrome. My 85 year old neighbor from back in the days seen me repairing a chrome bmx and told me this, the frame looked like new afterwards.

Just a tip : Remember to roll that bed back about a foot before trying to tilt ... With rpms up you can break the Aluminum bed rails... I have done it a few times Just wanted to give a heads up

Its not even really a jet dryer, just a big fan hooked up to a transmission. But I agree, that thing will be awesome once they get it started (shouldnt be too hard, its been indoors for 2 years)

Cleet.. just as a heads up do a fluid swap on the flat bed... depending on how long it sat it may have condensation buildup inside the system..
The square body roll back is one of new favorites of the fleet now nothing like a old square body with a small block and bulldog 4 speed
I laughed a little bit when it had an automatic column. In a 4-speed truck I have about six square bodies at home. Love those things was happy to see the wrecker started! I knew that the flatbed would run. Why because square body?

That's the truth. I was in the middle of a raid in WoW when this popped. Told them I was very sorry but I had to go.
This channel is my #1 favorite channel on RUclips. I've been watching since just before Cleetus & Cooper took on LeRoy as a project. I've watch their collection of cars grow from Project Neighbor, The Dale Truck, Ruby, The Jet Car (even though they discontinued that due to safety concerns), The Ford Galaxie, The MINI BOGGER 3000, The Crustang, Toast, The Mystery Machine, The Golf Cart, Cooper's CTS-V Wagon, Cleetus' Can-Am Turbo RR, James' Nissan 240SX... I have kept up with ALL the builds these guys have worked on & now that they've gone out & bought a damn race track. OMG... this is just the beginning guys. You watch! These guys are going places in the next 5, 10, 20 years. I plan on watchin all of it too!

Saw my dad when i was kid do this. To a 69 falcon station wagon that hadn't ran in twenty years we had an antifreeze jug with fuel in it sitting under the hood as a fuel tank we would pull over and change them every so often lol
Power chokes don't have spark plugs/wires ? At least ford changed something from the gas engine. We'll be Cummins round the mountain when we come by the power choke
