Very similar to many suburban train stations around Sydney metropolitan area. There used to be a bus operator around where I grew up who was known for marking the tyres with chalk to find out if drivers were hitting kerbs!
Yes, i noticed a few drivers hit them here. It is tight but with the right angle and use of mirrors it can be avoided. When i was a bus driver i avoided curbs at all costs, knowing my luck i'd burst a tyre!
Nice video. Only visited Chorley once myself using Holmeswood operated 347 from Southport, it used to be a Preston Bus route. We occasionally get the 125 branded buses on the Preston to Liverpool X2. That may change now as Stagecoach have reduced it to an hourly service everyday. Like many bus stations I didn't find Chorley easy to navigate, and no concise single display of all the routes and destinations served. That said, it was still way better than Chester bus station. We get a few operators in Southport. Arriva, Stagecoach, Holmeswood, Cumfybus, plus Maghull in their ex Brighton livery on the school work. Also good in the summer months for visiting tourist coach operators.
I prefer Voith. Just that Britain use Voith so extensively now, that'd a ZF becomes the refreshing change. In Australia it's closer to an even split these days. ZF used to dominate to the same extent or more as Voith does now in Britain.
