I can’t find the videos on we bought it , but as a 66 year old not far from you in the sand hills of Nebraska, I would use it for the snow removal I do for many people, I don’t do it for the money, I do it as a service, thank you for the great videos you put out and look forward for more
Gents, I choked up when Cole went to help the neighbor. I love to see that camaraderie between farmers. My guess is that Brian was 17 when he bought his first field. Not worried about winning ... just saying.
The response to the combine fire is the main reason why this country is GREAT!! Those are the people that make the world a better place. Happy to be associated with that kind of people. I really enjoy everyone here and how they work together and get along. Thanks guys, for the inspiration to do better, and the joy of coming along on your days. Brian makes me wish for the days when I was that young and spry.. Go man!! Good on you all for your response to the combine fire.
I like the Brian part and that’s all I’ve gotta say about that 😁😁. I love all the Sonne’s, it’s good seeing people being neighbourly. Hoping that other fire 🔥 happening didn’t destroy too much.
I think Brian was 17 when he bought that land. Years ago I was with the VFD working a grass fire. The wind was pretty strong and we were getting no where with it. The farmer next door came roaring through there with a disc and saved us. Never have seen a tractor go that fast in a field!
Brian really is old school hard working American man. Work all day. Come home and prep the combine for tomorrow. We dont get to enjoy the harvest season. Corn chopping is about it around here. No grain mills close in NY
You are doing a good job Brian. Keep it up. I'd say Brian was 19 when he bought that land. Oh and I guess Cole is doing alright too. But by far it is Jeff who is keeping those trucks running back and forth getting that corn to the grain bins. Keep it up y'all.
You're fortunate to have such an wonderful dad. I miss my dad so much, he passed in 1996 from bladder cancer. (former Camel Straight smoker and auto mechanic when no one wore protective gloves) Brian reminds me of him, same belief in helping your neighbor, sense of humor, etc. He owned and operated a RV campground and store.
I think Brian was 23 when he bought his first piece of property. Took a while to raise the money because I'm sure his dad wouldn't just give it to him, but wanted him to learn the value of hard work to better his future. Since Cole is 23, that's why I'm thinking that. Have a great day and hopefully YOUR combine won't catch on fire! -- Blessings from Arizona
One of the biggest things I miss about the country is the way everyone comes together when there is a problem. Here in the city, if there's an accident, a fire, or an ambulance call, there will be a crowd gather, but just for the entertainment value. Most don't even know their neighbors, let alone bother to lend a hand when needed. When I was a kid in the country, people would flock when something would happen, but they always had something with them to help with, even if it was only a casserole, a pie or cake, an offer to care for the kids, all the way up to a piece of equipment (that was likely also needed at home), or like what Cole did here. Neighbors cared for neighbors because it is necessary and they know it will be returned when the need is there. I don't believe those who grew up in the city can truly understand. (Not beating up on city folk. I are one now, but I did all I could to teach my kids the values I grew up with.) In the city, there are government functionaries to tend to all neighbors are counted on for in the country. While this is good, there is a huge disconnect in the society as a result. As a kid, I saw neighbors who didn't even like each other pull together when there was a need. They were neighbors in the full sense of the word.
Jerry well said, I grew up that way. Forty miles to the nearest hospital. A volunteer fire department, etc. When my father was in the hospital, his friends took turns running his business. Now when shit hits the fan, everyone is on their phones filming instead of rolling up their sleeves and helping.
Born, raised in a small town but now I have to move so I can die in a small town. I don't know how we got to place in this country where we are so divided.
You two need to know that sometimes if I can get to watch a couple of your videos, it makes me feel good to be alive knowing there are still good hard working people out there who care. My very best wishes to all, and the other viewers. From the UK.
Good argument for scooping up used fire trucks 🚒 and keeping one in the field during harvest. Great to see neighbors unselfishly rushing to the rescue. And my guess is Brian was 15 yrs old when he bought his first field even though the legal age to sign a contract is 18.
The closest I've ever come to harvest was one year (in the 50's), my sister & I (just about 6 & 7 years old) were lucky enough to ride in the truck with our Aunt (just 11 years older than myself) as Grandpa was combining the wheat. Aunt Joann would wait at the end of a row, and let us girls out into the back to stomp around in the grain! Great fun, except for the dead grasshoppers and other (can't remember which) insects!---I'm liking the ride-along with you fellas.
Ag people have each other's backs. Watching out for each other and chipping in when trouble strikes. God Bless Y'all! Praying for rain and Storla Station 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
I appreciate your dads comment about “being out here away from whats going on there”. (More or less). We live in a rural area and agree. Keep the crazy somewhere else.
That red Smeal 4T when you dropped onto the fire field tickled my fancy. Got a 6 & 8 myself which is why I watch farmers struggle..makes me feel better about my own. I'd say dad was an industrious guy & it was at 14.
My guess is 15 years and 3 months , 4 days , 7 hours , 10 minutes and 45 seconds . If I win , lol , give it to someone you know who truly needs it . I look forward to your videos . Hope your knee keeps getting better , and betterer..
I've always declined the happy ending because I'm shy. Was that a stop sign you blew through?? It's great that everybody runs to stop the fire, possibly because if it got big it might reach a few other farms. Self serving in one way but still a good thing to do for your neighbor. I hope you did your share of the greasing. Good video. Peace.
Brian. I was thinking the same thing. Holding camera, eating ice cream giving u orders 😃 The boy has big ones👍 Love how you guys all help each other! Awesome content as usual! 👍👍

Brian was 13 lol when he got first pc land? 😅 Brian makes me laugh goofy but fun guy well thanks for sharing sure love watching harvest very interesting man that’s a lot of corn!
Other than animal feed; is this corn sold for fuel production and what other uses as it obviously has value. Be interested to see your dad explain the corn market and how farmers sell their production. And to whom. It’s a commodity correct?
Two fires at the neighbors! Oh my! Good thing to have nice neighbors who come out to help! Can’t beat that! Got to see the uncle and Brian in another video, so that made my day. I’m so happy to see some corn being harvested, with that dry summer, it was not guaranteed. Keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞🤞🤞🤞👍👍❤️❤️
Only watching for a short time, so I can only guess, but I'll say your dad was 24 years and 9 months old for his first land purchase. I love the help that the vast majority of us farmers give in times of need. We know the suffering from first hand experience. Awesome video, thanks for posting. Have a wonderful and safe rest of the week!
I’ve seen people helping each other, in North Carolina. Next door was burning trash and it got way from her. I was coming home saw it. We save house and barn but loss the 10 acres of corn . I’m glad it’s still happening.
Cole, you and Mr. B have both a very big heart. Going to help your neighbor. Y;all are some very good people. Thank y'all and Jeff for all that you do for your neighbors and us.
our 9670 caught fire when at the field when we were not around. Ran a piece of rock in it. Brother was dumping grain, I was 20 miles away getting parts. It was along a state highway where people could see it. A random passerby saw smoke from feedehouse grabbed the fire bottle from cab sprayed used it to put it out. Still cut beans that night after the fun.
Groovy shades Brian, Cole’s “meals on wheels” for Dad, and lovely neighbourly support. 110 acres seems a hell of coverage in a day, marvellous. Time for a cool beer. Best wishes from 🇬🇧
