hello! love to watch your honest review loaded with alot of information. Q? Please suggest best pick ☆ ( Fujifilm xt4 VS Nikon z6ii ) I am a hobbyist. Thanks 🤝
Love the video keep it up! I am looking for a camera that is balanced i.e great with shooting videos and pictures. Mainly I will use this camera for my youtube channel indoor/outdoor video recording. The sony alpha and Fujifilm XT series look great but I don't know which one to go for so if you can help me that would be great.
Hi Ismail, what do you planning on taking photos of? That would help in our recommendations, as there's quite a few cameras I could list for the X-T, a6000, and a7 range.
I see. In that case I would say it's a toss up and the main deciding point would come down to price point. The camera market is seeing quite a spike right now in prices due to the silicone chip shortages. But, the cameras to consider would be the Fujifilm X-S10 and the Sony a6100. For the most part, you can skip the a7 full-frame range, unless you wanted the added low-light performance. Both the X-S10 and a6100 will deliver the image quality, video resolutions, and focusing performance for talking head videos and they're great shooters for outdoor photography. Granted, I would say the X-S10 is far more comfortable for longer sessions, but the a6100 does have better video capabilities. You can also consider the Fujifilm X-E4 or the X-T200 if you want a more compact form, that's similar to the a6100 rather than the DSLR styling of the X-S10.
your videos are awesome looking.. even after YT compression .. what version of final cut pro are you using.. :-) could you please share your upload settings..?
The A7S III is a great camera and one of our Editors Choices. But, we think it's better suited for video rather than both photos and videos combined. So that's why we didn't add it to this particular list.
thank you so much for this vid. Do you recommend sony or canon now adays? I am super interested in getting a well rounded camera for photography and videography, but just a little unsure of which one is best. Thank you for all of your help🙏🏼
Hi, Keala, we generally recommend Canon to beginners because their cameras are easier to use and learn. But, both Canon And Sony have excellent cameras. So it really depends what you plan on doing with the camera and your current skill-set. I'd say, Sony is the better long-term investment and a worthwhile option. But, up front their cameras are a bit difficult to master. So there's a trade-off there.
@@PhotographyPX So I am super torn between buying a Canon 90d, or a mirrorless canon. Do you have any recommendations on mirrorless canon cameras for beginners? Or what do you think of the 90d?
The 90D is excellent. But it's quite a large and potential bulky camera. So if you're looking for something compact and lightweight, it wouldn't be the best option. As far as Canon mirrorless that's similar to the 90D. I would consider looking into the EOS M6 Mark II. Consider checking out our detailed reviews on both cameras. I would definitely say the M6 Mark II is the stronger option, unless you specifically prefer optical viewfinders and the heavier more robust body design. Some people really enjoy those two in particular, in that case the 90D is better. photographypx.com/canon-eos-m6-mark-ii-review/ photographypx.com/canon-eos-90d-review/
Dear Sirs, I rely on your professionalism for advice on a compact around 300 euros. I would prefer a sony or alternatively one recommended by you. I await your reply and thank you in advance.
Hi lee, for this you'll be fine getting an APS-C camera like th Canon EOS M50 or M50 II. You probably won't need super high-end video capabilities for this kind of series on RUclips, since this platform compresses the videos heavily as is. Consider checking it out below. photographypx.com/canon-eos-m50-mark-ii-review/
Yes. The best camera for portraits on this list would be the Sony A7C. It has the best face and eye detection tracking out of most cameras in the industry. You can read more about it below if you'd like: photographypx.com/sony-a7c-review/
From an image quality standpoint, no both of the cameras are the same. The A7C just has better autofocusing than then A7 III. Otherwise, both cameras are almost identical. So if you prefer the better viewfinder and handling, the A7 III would be the better option.
Hello , thank you for your video. i am using IPhone 11 Pro Max for taking photos. I am planning to buy a budget mirror less camera, Can you please suggest and it will be used for photos, not much interested in videos.
Hi I would say watch our top ten list of the best mirrorless cameras under $500 USD. Which is below. And maybe consider looking into the Canon EOS M6 or the Panasonic GX85/GX80. Both of these cameras would be a nice upgrade over the 11 Pro. ruclips.net/video/IaIJfITOZh8/видео.html
Yes. It's due to the size of the sensor. Smaller sensor cameras like the ones on smartphones don't have to read and write as much data. And that's the main reason why they can have 4K even 120 FPS on smartphones right now. But the moment you take that same camera, then squeeze in a larger APS-C or even a full-frame sensor, the amount of data and processing power the camera has to calculate per second sky rockets. And that usually causes overheating issues. 4K 60p on a full-frame camera creates files that are often 30-45 GBs in size just for a 15 minute video. And for the longest time, manufactures have been battling trying to figure out to make the right fans to cool a full-frame camera without making it unnecessarily bulky. We ended up seeing some of these designs starting with the Panasonic GH5, then the S1H, A7S III, X-T4 and a number of other cameras. But, it was quite a challenge from a technical standpoint to make it happen.
To be kind useless 😪. The Canon R5 and R6 are not even discussed. This kinda makes me wonder what was the point 🤔 of this video. I won't bring up the Sony A7sIII since its a video camera 1st.
We look at cameras for their overall value. Both the EOS R5 and R6 are excellent cameras, that we both gave editors choice badges. But, the reality is that theres other equally capable options in many regards at a far lower price point. And these cameras simply offer better value to most photographers. This is the same case with the A7S III, a camera we also gave a high recommendation and a badge too. But, the A7S3 is just overkilled for the average videographer. We're talking serious cinematographer territory there. The "best" of everything is always relative to the category we fell is most relatable. We can easily recommend the a9 mark II, Leica SL2, 1DX Mark III, and Nikon Z7, all of which are excellent. But, these cameras are just too niche.
Have faith knowing the R5 and R6 are excellent. Definitely get one if you're in the market. You won't be disappointed. They're Canon best camera's ever-released. They're just a bit pricey at the moment since they're brand brand new.
@@PhotographyPX Thanks for the reply 👍. I do plan on getting the R5. It is the Canon body that I have been waiting for. Full disclosure I am a Canon Dslr shooter ... have been for years, but it is time to go mirrorless and the R5 my dream camera 📷 😅. Everything I need and more ❤
Yeah absolutely get it. The R5 is the best photography camera they've every made. Easily superior to the 5DSR series. Hands-down. We'll be getting one ourselves for long-term use here in about 6 months. :D
@@alvinblackwell268 I've also thought about getting the R5 in the future! I've heard it has some overheating problems though.... If you've received yet, how has its performance been for you?

Any idea why these mirorless cameras can't shoot in 4k60? It's really disappoints because a cell phone can do it but a actual camera can't.
