(edit it activates in end phase but because it can activate multiple times in the ep its location is irrelevant if im understanding the ruling correctly so you still get the search under crow.) This is how it was ruled in tengu plant format. So probably a good thing to let your locals know moving forward.
@teamlegacyyugioh1903 there's not a lot of info on it. But I did some extra digging on it today and it's legit. It's because of the searching multiple times in the end phase. It basically means that the game effectively strictly acknowledges that darksoul was sent from your side of field to the gy and nothing else regardless of where it ends up later. So for example if you synchro with one and bring it back you get a search in ep even if it's on the field. This includes if you avarice it back or something. You theoretically can search itself with itself. It doesn't make a lot of sense but it is how it was ruled back then.
