You could jeep makes windshield straps that attach it to the hood so it doesn’t move.
Curious the history of this, was it so guys could shoot guns from the jeep in ww2
From what I know for shipping purposes they made it foldable to make it easier to transport. I’m sure there is more reasons it folds
