nice! i'm taking this week off to practice next week's Oulton park track - last week's summit guide helped me squeeze out another ~0.5-0.75 secs i couldnt otherwise find - thanks!!
Awesome lap there Davey! I'm fairly new to iRacing and have been racing in the F488 GT3 series for last season, (2) and now we're into season 3, week 4 is at Suzuka so this guide is great. I'm currently in the 2:03s so not sure if I can improve by over 3 seconds but will give it a go!
Thank you! Helps very much, i managed so far a 2:03:045 and i keep practicing. I am not very good with trail breaking tho partly cause i never done it before ( i am new to iracing and driving in general) and i also dont get much of feel from g29 breaking pedal, its like the pedal has very little drive. I thought to use the cluch as the break but maybe i will create bad habbits?
Thanks Davey. You are bloody quick! My first season in ferrari. Just done one season in mazda to get going. Your guides are brilliant.
Only guides I use, much appreciated.

I'm glad my guide could help so much, that's amazing! I'm aiming to get the Oulton Park guide out on Tuesday next week.

Try bias brake 53.1 for trail braking
I feel more confortable for the first corner ,basic setup brake make me kick off the ass
Hey mate. Great video. Any chance you share the olap and blap?
Great ! thanks a lot. May I know the brake bias you use ?
I don't change the brake bias from the fixed setup. If I were to recommend any changes it would be to move it to the rear a couple of clicks
What the average time people ? Just curious im new on iracing i start last day ago and i can do 1m02.7 to 03
there is no average time. It depends from the split you are into. By exemple top split, you need sub 1m1 to be in top 10.
@@Max-qo4sw i mean what a good level racer will pace ?
@@philippepaquin3806 under 2m01
Am I missing something? 1:02 is a lot faster than the F1 world record here. You must be talking about a different track layout?
@@TechnoLlamaTGC im cheating haha . I meam 2m02.5
Great lap mate! Any chance you still have the setup of this car saved for this lap?
Is this a fixed setup lap or non-fixed?
also - just an FYI - your donation link appears to be broken - maybe it's just on my end, idk
Haha thanks for the useful info! PayPal playing me short with the link. Really appreciate you letting me know.
