Thank you for your time and effort in putting these tracks on RUclips. The absolute best way to learn guitar soloing. Just put the track on then Spank the Plank for a few hours. Again, thank you so much..
It is a F# major 7, but there seems to be a few non diatonic chords in this progression (like this one (F#maj7), to stay in the key of A it should be an f# minor 7) But it's nice to hear clever and unusual chords progression with (a few) non diatonic choices
I mapped out this song and every time it gets to the chorus or B part to it, i play a riff i wrote to it. This backing track is my favourite as of now!
@@eskimofireman You mean in the E7? I just meant that it's more common to refer to dominant 7th chords that way. E7 contains the D note (b7) and the 6th note is Db, so they need to be separated by an octave, so it makes sense, to me at least, to call it the 13th instead of the 6th. Also, the "6th note" is more commonly thought of in a major-type chord, like "C6." Chord naming is just shorthand anyway, so there's no absolutely correct way to do it, but I think that following certain conventions makes it less confusing. To answer your question, though, I don't hear the 9th in there, but it certainly works.
Hey man! First of all. I love your tracks. Use it a lot to practice and teaching as well. Have a quick question. When you hit that F#maj7 i hear it as dominant chord, like a F#7. Also it makes more sense since I can play it like a secondary dominant to Bm7! Am I going crazy or it that what it supposed to be? Best regards man, keep up the good work.
hey, i used this jam track to write a song for my girlfriend since i felt the groove so much! i would like to know how you feel about people using your material since she'll probably show some friends (if she likes it of course) and it may go around. i obviously wont be monetizing it but i'd just like to know how you feel about it! (and i can even send it your way if you'd like to hear it).
You're using A7 as a way to approach the 4 chord (Dmaj7), because A7 is the dominant chord in D major. It wants to resolve in a Dmaj7 chord. So it's interesting to use it, cause it builds more tension leading to the 4 chord

Damn bro this jam track is lit..and yah I kinda liked your description..thumbs up..to this.
Brilliant. Love it.
wonderful groove. is it possible that it should be an F#7 in the A section?
You're right...apparently a typo. And the E7add6 should probably be called E13.
@@billkennedy8379 is there a 9 in there?

Awesome track! any tips on soloing?
learn the A major pentatonic scale and go wild
Delish!
Is this the same as playing in B Dorian? It sounds right with it anyway.
yes
@@benjaminsimon9498 Thanks Ben.
On the first line of chords NOT A MAJ7 but a Dominant | AMAJ7 | F#7|
Yep....I was thinking the same thing.
Yep same thing here
Con que criterio se puede utilizar un acorde mayor septima (Amaj7) y seguido un septima normal (A7) Por favor, ¿algo de ayuda?
You're using A7 as a way to approach the 4 chord (Dmaj7), because A7 is the dominant chord in D major. It wants to resolve in a Dmaj7 chord. So it's interesting to use it, cause it builds more tension leading to the 4 chord
great stuff
Hi,
pretty sure it its F#7 in the Chorus, and not Maj7.
Thanks for a great backing track! :)
Did you write this one?
top level!
OOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha my favorite jam after one play
I heard this & I just couldn't stop singing along.......I don't play a lick but I put up my video called "2 Step"...........:)) Mark
Great job my friend 👌
thx bro..........
F# pentatonic/diatonic works great over this
Beatifull...tanks man
E7 add 6 is E13
El cifrado de los acordes por favor es muy importante también lo puedes poner! Gracias
Awesome............
Thank you sir 👌
not to be a bummer or anything but the F#maj7 is actually a F#7, it's a dominant chord, leading to that Bm7. chord tones are F# A# C# E not E#/F.
Great track tho!
WHADDAYA MEAN I CAN'T JUST PLAY THE BOX SCALE! WHAH!!!!!!!!!! ( cool, some real adult changes to play through, this is nice )
You can play the F# Pentatonic or aeolian, it works really well ;)
fantastico
Thanks!
Any one have any tips? i really suck at this improvising thing
A major and move around all positions, play lots of slow(but accurate) bends
Also, if you know blues pentatonics, those help a lot
Can anybody recommend me any great lead players
in this exact style?
Me lol
